FINAL photo preparation!!

SSS Week 1#10

OUTLINE Video….

 

If you’d like to get extra lean and mean for your photoshoot~ here is a basic photoshoot prep that I’ve used and recommended to many of my clients:
Photoshoot prep-

3 days out-
-Drink 1.5 gallons of water
-Cut your carbs to only 2.
-Eat very salty foods. And if you find this to be a problem, drink a couple of cups of chicken bullion. It is very imp ortant that you have a salt overload on this day

2 days out-
-Drink 1.5 gallons of water
-No carbs, protein veggies and fat only
-NO SALT
Put a coat of tanner on b4 bed- Loreal Sublime tanner with bronzer in it is the best!

1 day 1 out-
-Drink 1.5 gallons of water
-NO Workout
-No Carbs
-NO Salt
-No gas causing foods
-Take a water pill(diruex) B4 bed and
-no water after 8pm or so…time it so you have 12-16 hours without water prior to your shoot
-Put another coat of Tanner on

Photoshoot DAY!!


-No water or carbs until after the shoot
-Put another coat of tanner on
-Do your hair
-Over do your make up make sure you have some that will make your face a little tanner looking. What I use is a face bronzer, and 1 shade darker makeup for photoshoots. You may want to practice with this before hand.
Have fun!!
Bring music
(have a glass of wine)

Post photoshoot-
Drink a lot of water to rehydrate!!!
And be sure to eat a healthy meal.

Sexy Mojo!!

Sexy Mojo!!


I’d like to take a bit of time today to talk about “Keeping Motivated” in our Sexy in 70 contest…or as I like to call it keeping your Sexy MOJO!!!

It is so easy for us to get GUNG HO about our fitness goals for 1,2 , 3 days or even a couple of weeks but then totally fizzle out…much of  the participation I ask for from my clients and TEAM Buffmother! members is meant to HELP them stay motivated…here is a quote from our Team BuffMother”Rally Room” about being a good TEAM member:

“1) Encourage others to do their best in the “Sexy in 70” contest …try to comment on at least 5 blog posts daily. “The KEY to your motivation is to encourage others!!”
2) Blog often on your personal progress, workouts, thoughts and weekly mini challenges

Hi EVERYONE!!!

WE have a new contest in the TEAM BuffMother! Rally Room– the 10 WEEK Quest for CONSISTENCY CONTEST!!!

Often the biggest stumbling block in fitness is lack of CONSISTENCY.

I challenge you to BE CONSISTENT over the next 10 weeks! Shoot to do a “workout” at least every other day that would be 3-4 days a week and if you can CONSISTENTLY do that you will see results!!

There is still time to join we will be Starting May 7th, 2007- go to the Rally Room and the contest will run for 10 weeks!!
To enter and be eligible to win:
you must be a member of the Rally Room
You must take starting stats and final stats(body fat optional)
You must Submit a final summary: a week by week lay out of your consistency (your weekly recaps and poa’s), beginning and final stats, pictures(optional) and thoughts about your progress and what you’ve overcame to be consistent over the last 10 weeks.

Suggested Participation:
Starting pictures and After pictures are recommended
Weekly post your recap of the previous week
Weekly post your POA (plan of attack) for the next week

And add in some extra steady fasted cardio reading my bible on the bike, it is a good way for me to start my day!

Today I tried to run again, but it was a NO GO…I quite after running around the block once and 1 strider…my knee is still being stupid
So I came in the house and did the stairmaster
8 hard 1 min intervals at level 30: 1 min off at level 22
then I pumped out 10 pull ups (full extension and lift chest to bar)
did abs

I had planned on trying to do back today also, but it didn’t work out. That’s fine because I am beat and my back is sore from my DL’s yesterday.

Well I am off to CHILL in bed and watch some TV.
