BIG NEWS For TEAM BUFFMOTHER!!! March 02, 2006

HI! All!! Last night I made a big announcement to TEAM BuffMother!! Our very own *Women’s Only* membership area, The Rally Room, is now open. Here is the note I posted in our Yahoo Group:

I am sure you are well aware of the difficulty we are having as a TEAM in keeping up with all the excitement and growth on the Yahoo! Group. I am very pleased that in less than 12 months, at 1650 members we have outgrown the Yahoo!Group!!! In order to make Team Buffmother Awesome and take it to the next level, we now need to transition to the Team BuffMother! Rally Room :

The problems we currently face on the Yahoo! group:

* Public- everyone in the world can see our posts and pictures
* Safety issues, nasty men bothering the TEAM members
* Confusing- who is who, names to faces, progress, background, finding common ground etc
* No organization to posts
* Too many posts to possibly keep up with
* Problems with the chat system
* Login problems with Yahoo
* Annoying advertising
* Message posting problems, late and out of order

Exciting features of the Rally Room :

* Private- only the members of the TEAM will have access to our pictures, information and posts. ALSO, a private area will enable me to share “secret” training and diet information with the TEAM. I have limited this information to paying clients up to this point.
* Women only- This will be easier to monitor than on the Yahoo! Group, it will be much easier to keep men out.
* More organized, easier to use- There is a good forum, that is organized by topics and the entire area is laid out for ease of use
* Each member can have their personal blog, photo gallery and profile- this will be fun because we all can keep track of our journeys and our friend’s journeys so much easier.
* I will have an extended gallery that will include short video segments detailing lifts, techniques tips and other helpful information for BuffMothers. This is going to be a great teaching tool and resource area. I plan to do segments called “four week focus” on different body parts, eating plans, hormonal timing, housework fitness, supplements, etc..
* Chat- this area has it’s own easy to use chat system so chatting will be more fun and frequent.
* I will also be able to HELP all the members easier, since I will be able to read up on their progress, profile and see progress pictures all in one easy to access place

I have asked about 10 BuffMothers to TEST the Rally Room area in order to work out the kinks. They have faithfully been posting in for a while now, so there is already tons of fun stuff to read in the area. I want you to know that by your being part of TEAMBuffMother! you have the power to encouraged and inspired countless women to action!!! I appreciate you so much and know that I alone can’t reach every woman. I need the support and help from wonderful women like you!! Happy Saturday

Just wanted to pop in an say “hi”…
I had a wonderful night last night, my sweet MIL is here visiting and she let me and her son(my DH) go out! Whooohooo! I love going out with my baby. The picture here shows the green dress I wore last night! We had a wonderful time, stayed up too late, etc…

So I am in recovery mode today. And guess what, my buffing is going GREAT! I weighed 124 this morning! BUT, Due to Severe dehydration, YUCK!!! Real weight is more like 127. I can now see that my last bulking phase has added some more muscle to my butt! FUN!!!

I have a very busy weekend, lots of work to do and a family get together tonight. We are planning to have pizza and I think I will give myself some freedom diet wise today since I still have this week of “buffing” and I am already within 1 pound of my weight goal.

A heavy, high volume “buffing”leg workout

My leg workout I did this evening:
Warmed up with 8 min on the r-bike with 4 1 min. intervals
Seated calf raises
Leg press
200×15 followed by calves to failure
380×10 followed by calves to failure
380×10 followed by calves to failure
Hack Squat
focus on butt
180×10 full 10 short for butt
Smith lunges
Dead lifts
one set of 10×115
low back tightened up, yikes!
Leg extensions
135×15 out/in
165×12 +5 in
185 x10 +5 in
185 x10 +5 in
Leg curls
90×8 + 60×6
Calf raises (standing)
260×20 (straight and in)
345 x 15 +8 out
Walking Lunges
2 sets w/ 30# DB’s of 15 per leg

This was a good workout, it took a total of 1hr15min! Even though I was sick last week I can really tell that I have gained strength during my “building phase”. Lifting without creatine is not as much fun, but my waist is already much smaller (the lifting belt is too big again).
I was very hungry all day. And I really didn’t eat much less than usual, it is my body knowing that I am trying to make it smaller! I think that after a few more days like today, I will get in a groove.
I will be sore tomorrow!

Lifting STRONG!

FUN!!!! Lifting is FUN! When you see yourself hitting personal records, feeling once heavy weights become light, and seeing the amazing results in the mirror, lifting is FUN!
If you have never felt this way, try it and you will become addicted!

p.s. I am entering a push up challenge, I will do push ups to failure every time I do my chest workout for my warm up, traditional military style: today I did 36reps and my weight is 129 today. EAT MORE!!


I gained 4#’s in one day!
I went from 126 on WED to 130 on THURS.
Creatine, NO2 and eating like crazy, all part of what it takes for me to builld muscle has already changed my body in just one day!
The best thing about it all is how I feel in the gym. WOW! Lifting with the proper fuel in your body, plus a little extra pump from Creatine is UNREAL. I added weights to everything I did and I am not even sore today. New muscle is on the horizon for me!!! Having this contest for motivation to get really serious about my training again is a lot of fun. This has renewed my excitement and made me ultra focused.
