Feeling the MOJO

My Mojo towards being SEXY is rising!  I had a much better day yesterday…feeling good about life right now!
Next week we’ll really be able to start digging into the essence of what we need to do to feel and BE SEXY!  I can’t wait to see how my sexy mojo increase as I apply strategies to enhance my confidence and beauty!  I LOVE THIS CONTEST!!

Yesterday my workout was a baby one again, just playing it safe!  Working out on ANTIBIOTICS can be very dangerous!  They rob your body of all the good bacteria specifically the natural “lube” that’s within your joints.  Ligament and Tendon damage can occur if you push too hard while you are on antibiotics. Once I became aware of this, I started to really listen my body and alter my workouts during “medicated” times.

The workout went like this:

Light Lat pulls- 4 sets Light seated rows- 4 sets Stretching and some abs between sets Lower back hyper extensions- 3 sets A short treadmill run– Intervals for 10 mins– first 2: 1 min on, 1 min off~~ Next 4: 1 min on, 30 sec off

My shoulder/neck was really sore from the massage I had Thursday but It was a million times better than it had been on Mon-Wed!! Thank you Jesus!

Today, I have “mommy duty” running the kids to an fro to Church events and a birthday party.  It’s supposed to cloud up and rain this afternoon…so not sure what’s in store for the rest of my day besides doing a light leg workout.  I have just 2 more days on my antibiotic…Monday I’ll be back to normal workouts for the most part, YAY!!

8 Days to Go!! …Efficient

8 Days to Go!! We are two-thirds done…2 weeks into our 3 week contest.

How are you doing?  I hope you feel closer to BREAKING your habit!

I have lost a little bit of focus this past week, but I am ready to be RELENTLESS and finish this final week STRONG!  I expect to have my habit of eating junk carbs broken and have established a clean kitchen habit!!

I’ve identified that too much computer time really derails my efforts to take action towards my goals.  This week I’m going to focus on being very effective and efficient with my time online.

I encourage you to join me on this task:

Complete Online tasks during just one session each day. Check your mail once daily and complete all other online tasks quickly and efficiently. Let’s combine all online time into one small daily ritual–I plan to even set a TIMER so that I don’t slip and go end up wasting my energy and attention.

My online to do list for this week:
Check my email inbox and write quick responses- 30 min
Write blog- 30 min
Comment on 5+ friends posts in Rally Room- 10 min
Update Facebook status- 5 min
Surf the web-10 min

1:15 mins is very do-able and much less than the tally has been for me recently!!

If ONLINE time is not a problem for you…maybe there is something else hindering your focus- could it be TV time? spending too much time on the phone? Spending too much time cleaning?

Focus on finding ways to be more efficient with your time!!

 

Today’s workout suggestions:

Beginner- walk for 20 mins…get your arms pumping and heart beating

Experienced– Lift Legs, again!! Paired circuits– do the blue exercises as a circuit and then the pink…keep moving it’s supposed to be hard and fast!

Birthday Month for us is finally over!!  I love, love, love birthdays and I love, love, love my family–BUT 3 birthdays in a matter of 1 week + Valentines Day wears me out!

Thursday was a total off day for me- it was Travis’ Birthday and he played hookie from work so we could hang out all day.  It was really an awesome day and he had a very nice birthday.

Friday morning was all about throw up, lol….my little lady Layla was super sick with the tummy flu and so was my dog.  What a mess!
Today is a new day and we are fired up to have everyone mostly healthy and we have Softball tryouts today for my 10 year old.  It should be interesting- She’s never played!  Last night we hit wal-mart for some gloves and a bat.  It was so fun to see GIRL colors…when I played there were no pink and purple options– Love it!! :love:

Yesterday, I did manage to get in a good back workout and my diet was much more in check.  I am ready to kick in this contest– just a bit over a week left and I plan to be RELENTLESS!!

My workout plan for today is to run outside 2 miles and do some plyo type stuff after along with abs.  Should be a good one!

p.s. for my diet…I am on a maintenance calorie level of about 1800-2000 right now…5-4-3-2-0…once TOM arrives then I will be leaning hard 🙂

Hi ya gals….
You all seem to be busy beavers today 🙂

I hope you are setting some time aside to rest a bit today, I have been all morning. I am also continuing to “feel” better little by little.
Gracie though is sick again today…poor thing 🙁

The birthday party went well the girls got…little bikes with training wheels, princess and tinkerbell suit cases, strawberry shortcake shoes, puzzels, play guitars, painting books, baby dolls and a few other litttle items. We had a good time!!!

Then last night Travis and I got to go on a date!! MAN I love him, I could spend every second of my life hanging out with him, we have so much fun together. His birthday is on Thursday and He will be 36…no one ever believes he is that old. I don’t believe it either!

So for today’s workout HMMMM…I think I will go running outside this afternoon and do some biceps and pull ups, abs and other junk. Probably no gym, but I love it there so maybe (if Gramma is up for watching the sick little GRACIE)

Weekend is ON!

Tonight Gunner and I got in our 4th lifting workout for the week, YAY!!  He’s already getting stronger and says he’s gained 7 pounds (not sure on that, but he is up to 114!)…I’m so proud of him and his effort. He’s going to be a big strong boy by this football season!

Anyhow, The kids are so fired up that the weekend is here and so am I!! I’m going out for dinner tonight: Tomorrow is watching some football, a bonfire,  the UFC and more football on Sunday will round out my weekend!!

In addition to the fun stuff one of my DD’s has a birthday party, so that’ll mean some driving around- I also would like to get in a solid squat workout.  My new gym doesn’t have a free weight squat rack, so I’m planning to go to my old gym or get in a good workout at my house on my squat rack!  THESE LEGS NEED THE WORK!!

Today is cycle day 3 and my first weigh in was horrid!! I was holding tons of water and weighed 132–eeeeekkkk!! But by 5pm tonight I weighed 129 again~ Whew!  I hate hormone bloats!  Anyhow~ buffing officially starts on Sunday and I plan to hit it VERY HARD!  Time to push myself to the limit, no more pussy footing around!!

Well today is Gracie’s Birthday Party- so I am “prepping” for that experience, lol!

I just got the cake from Wally World–Oh MY it was busy there! Now all I have left to do is wrap and get myself and the girls beautified. Then we will be heading to our fav b-day spot Chuckie Cheese!

This morning I went to the gym with DH, he has been taking some time off to rest his injured ribs…and guess what – he has lost 19 pounds in less than 6 weeks– I think that is CRAZY! 199 to 180
