booty ~ shake that thing!

HI ladies!! We’ll we’ve made it through to THURSDAY and I’ve made it through to be “BUFFING” once again!! YAY!!  I had a very successful modified boosting– it was all about maintaining my weight and uppping the volume of my cardio. It went really well the first week of boosting– then the 2nd week was more of a struggle, YET I am here starting my buffing at 128#’s.  I expect that in the next week I’ll be down at my goal of 126 for VEGAS!! YAY!!

Fyi- I am still sore from my track workout- especially in the bottoms of my feet and quads/hip flexors.

 Yesterday’s workout was a good upper body day- I did 3 rounds of 7 mins on my upright bike through out the day.

pull ups 3sets x 7 reps

Bench press 95x10x3sets

Rows with my 40# KB 3 serts of 10 Incline flys 30’sx10

Dips- 1 set on bench the other 2 sets of 7 reps  regular dips (on my dip station)

I also did one round of this- it was posted by a BuffMother member Theresa of Omaha— she’s crazy and did this in a hotel in vegas last week.  All 10 rounds with little rest!

I did one round and told her to Give me 10 days, thenI should be able to complete the 10 rounds, lol– did 1 today!! It took 4 mins

I’m getting very excited for VEGAS!! the weather for our trip looks great!!

BIG NEWS!! our next contest will be a BOOTY CONTEST!   I’ll announce it and start promoting it as soon as we return from VEGAS!

right now finishing up the S2S contest results and VEGAS is enough for me to handle–but come May my booty is where my attention will be!!

It’s going to be 3 weeks long– start day may 6th- final day may 26th

My Saturday was a good one, It started wtih a quick workout at the gym- LEGS of course…then directly to Gracie’s last regular season 5th grade BB game. They actually won!! It’s was a great way to finish the season, sort of…next week each night they have a TOURNAMENT!

After  that I went home did some cleaning and met with the electrician about getting Gunner’s room “electrified”, LOL! Once that was done it was time to go PLAY on my tractor, build a fire and enjoy the amzing land God has blessed us with!

 

Once it got dark, I had to run to town again for a bit since Gracie’s BB Team was in charge of the gym clean up…It took about hour of my night~ which wasn’t super convient, but HEY Mommy has to do thing they don’t want to sometimes 🙂

The night wasn’t over yet…WE relucntantly decided to order the UFC PPV.  Most of the fights were duds, but I was happy to see Frankie Edgar lose. I’m not a fan of his.

It was a good day!! NOW to make this SUNDAY be AWESOME TOO!!

"Sizzlin' in 6": Week 1; Day 1

MONDAY MAY 2nd is DAY 1 of our contest!!!

Congrats!! and THANKS! for trusting me with your body~ Over the next 6 weeks my goal is to get you Sizzlin’ HOT for Summer.

We have a lot of work to do so let’s get started:

Today I’d like you to focus on 3 items:

#1- Getting in a great FIRST workout- Upper body, Intervals and ABS are on tap- please see Sizzlin’ in 6: Day 1

#2- Start improving your Diet- I challenge you to limit  DESSERTS/CANDY/ALCOHOL in your life for the next 6 weeks. For those of you who are really brave you can challenge yourself to completely ELIMINATE them all together!!  In the place of dessert- you can indulge in Fruit.  Let’s make a huge focus on what foods WE CAN EAT!!  You can always eat Fruit, Veggies, Proteins and FAT (yes, I said fat)!!

#3- Take a set of starting photos and stats.  You need to measure your success and you’ll be thankful when you are done that you have proof of where you started!!  Photos: take at least 3- front, side and back.  Stats: take ate least 5:  Weight, Bust, waist, hip, and thigh.

 

Remember to simply take 1 day at a time…BABY STEPS!  Each and every positive desicion will add up towards your success.

BuffMother J’nea ROCKS!!


I am so proud and excited for one of my dearest friends from my BuffMother Rally Room, J’nea!! She was chosen to be featured as a “Transformation of the week on Bodybuilding.com”. She is like me in a lot of ways, she is my height, has 4 kids, loves to lift weights, loves to blog, etc…BUT there is one HUGE difference—she not only has one set of twins but TWO sets!!! I don’t think I could handle that~~ She is proof that you have to take a “no excuses” attitude towards getting your workouts done. I am inspired by her every day!!
