Joy is in Confidence~ Shine in 49: Day 30

Is is possible to be happy if you are continually questioning your value? CONFIDENCE in who you are id key to having JOY! I know who I am! I am a daughter of my Lord God and joint heir with JESUS!

โ€œThe Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirsโ€”heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.โ€ (Romans 8:16-17)

If that’s not enough information to give me confidence and JOY I don’t know what is?

Know who you are!
You are born for greatness, born to do amazing powerful wonderful thing in order to show the world LOVE!
That’s my goal and that’s my JOY!

Today’s BuffMother “FIT tip”-POSTURE!!! Look slimmer, feel taller, convey confidence
with good posture. Practice walking with
head parallel to the ceiling, chest lifted, shoulder back, abs in, and
…SMILE! PLUS don’t forget to keep perfect
posture when you are working out- no slouching on the treadmill, elliptical or
when lifting allowed!!

Posture shows confidence and is so inviting and attractive! Let your JOY shine through your posture!

I plan to work a bunch on my posture this week…and some posing. I’m prepping for an upcoming photo-shoot. I will be working a promo on July 10th in Springfield MO. My “A game” is needed! Not sure when I’ll do the photo-shoot…but soon! Each year I try to do one close to my birthday. It’s a good way to celebrate each additional year of buffness!!

ON tap for me today is:

  • Training programs for Clients
  • Planning Summer VACATION time for kids and I ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Have a KICK A$$ workout at 3pm- Full body HEAVY!!
  • DIET hard!- – I am planning on being perfect with it- time to lean up this body! I wanna be shredded for JUNE 14th!

Something really amazing I want to share is that I ran a several HARD sprints on Saturday after a 10 min run. BTW- these sprints are only 100m long- hydrant to hydrant on the street in front of my house. the AMAZING part is how insanely sore I got in my core- my ABS and inner-costial muscles/tissues are SORE!

Amazing how I didn’t even know those muscles existed until yesterday, lol! SPRINTS work!!! But a word of caution: EASE Into doing them!! Start with just a couple and work up from there!

Let’s “work it” this week!! Stand tall and confident in your identity!! You are INCREDIBLE!!

  1. Well I felt really good about my dieting as of yesterday then right in the middle of my leg work out my sister calls and asks me to make a two hour trip to Harrisburg Il with her so I had to stop right then, shower, pack up the baby and leave. Then at about 11 o’clock last night we ran to Taco Bell for my husband and I gave in and ate a cheesy gordita crunch. Lots o’ fat lots o’ carbs and waaaay past 8 which is my cut off time for food. I’ve been beating myself up over it this morning ๐Ÿ™
I don’t like feeling guilty over food but I have been having great momentum so I get disappointed in myself when I give in to my hunger and eat badly.

  2. FYI~ we are not having a call tomorrow. I’m going to be taping a video presentation instead ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Thanks Michelle, Great verse at the top. Thank you. I have been working on my posture today since listening to your conference call last week. Hope to get in on tomorrows call!

  4. LOVE the Posture comment! So true. When I see someone walking slouched and head down I always think “shy, no confidence, and other not so good self image” Totally agree with posture can change the way others look at you. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Love it!

  5. Totally what I needed to read! Have really been struggling with confidence in my self lately..thanks

  6. Sorry I didn’t get this comment in yesterday … my husband and I had to move all the furniture out for carpet cleaning today. Which looks awesome BTW.

Yesterday was a super day for me, because I met my weight loss goal – 10 lb below prepregnancy weight, 5 months postpartum. I’ll keep going with eating right and exercise because I just feel better when I do …

But yay – and back to the upper body, intervals, and abs today … if I ever get a chance …

  7. Awesome post! Great reminder, so many people go thru the day slouching . . . stand up and be proud! <3 that! Thanks again Michelle for great information!

  8. it’s so easy to slouch…I’ve been finding myself doing it all too often!

  9. Great bible verse. Thanks for sharing it. Know if i could just open my 19 yr old daughters ears and heart to this. Anyway lead by example is ine of the best things i can do for all my children and people i dont even know. I want to take care of the body i was blessed with. What a better way to honor Him and the gift of life than to fill your body with the right fuel give it the right exercise and fill your spirit and mind with uplufting and educating words. Life flies by before our eyes there is not a moment to waste.

  10. I too have been working on my posture more lately and I do feel a difference, almost a pride in myself just by having better posture. I don’t always feel that great about the way I look but as has been said before I can fake it till I make it.

  11. Sun is shining in the UK๎Š๎Š๎Šbelieve me that’s a blessing!!!

Keeping abs sucked in which helps so much to remember good posture. In buffing phase now so got 2 keep diet ‘clean’! Thanks for post.

  12. I’ll be practicing good posture and doing some sprints. Thanks for the post.

  13. I ran some sprints in between my jogs the other day too. It was my first time doing sprints in awhile and it def made my abs sore! That’s never happened before so I’m glad it’s working out my abs! ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Feeling great after 4 weeks! Started the contest determined to win and I still want to! But, I am not having any changes in my weight and not much in my measurements!!!! I have been working my tail off during the workouts and I am eating clean…I gave up bread and pasta and found out I might suffer from a wheat allergy. While I was pregnant with my 4th child, they told me I had discoid lupus, I get red welts on my face. But after not eating bread or pasta for several weeks, I have realized my face has cleared up!!!! So maybe its not lupus! Back to my original subject of not seeing movement on scale or tape; is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Height is 5’2″ weight is 115 to 117.

  15. I have been really super busy but trying to do something every day to work out even if it is 30 min of circut training or a 30 min run and some abs. and i totally hear you when it comed to posture good posture cam make you look several pounds thinner and just looks more fit.
