Celery, you are my friend…

Yep, that’s right, CELERY has been my friend the past couple days.  It’s actually VERY GOOD! Why is it so easy to foget how yummy green veggies can be?

Anyhow, my diet is back ON TRACK– had a little bit of a hiccup Friday and Saturday with it…PLUS the ibuprofin I took for my neck caused me to retain some major water– NO FUN!   Most of it is gone now, but I weighed in at 130.8 this morning– almost 6 pounds more that I’d like for my photo-shoot.  I have 18 days days until then, so I’m now in EMERGENCY mode when it comes to diet.  There will be NO BOOSTING for me this month~ I’ll have to gut it out and stay STRONG!!

PROTEINS AND GREENS!! and I’m even cutting down on my fat intake!  THIS GIRL IS DETERMINED, lol!!

I did 60 mins of cardio yesterday~ 20 mins on r-bike; 20 mins of running intervals on treadmill; 20 mins on the elliptical ~ WHEW!!
Now today I have legs on tap–

WARM UP on Upright BIKE

Squats
Dead lifts
Forward Lunges
Leg Extensions
Leg Curls
Walking Lunges
ABS between each set

Should be killer!

I’m off to find some more CELERY!!

Energy up!!

HEY!!  I am so happy to report that my ENERGY is UP again after a couple physically DEAD days on Monday (cday2) and Tuesday(cday 3). WHEW!!  It’s good to have some spunk again!

My “Every Day in May” personal workout goal is going great.  I’ve not yet missed a day:

Sat- football game- worked out for about 3-4 hours,  lol!
Sunday- Long hike in the woods- 2.5-3 hours…what a wonderful way to spend Mother’s Day afternoon!
Monday- football practice- 2+ hours of working out
Tuesday- Lift full body Mish-Mosh for 30 mins @gym: Chest press, pull ups, shoulder press, lat pulls, leg press, calf raises, 2 laps around indoor track (400m total)

Tonight is Footbal practice again~ we have a game in Kansas City this weekend at 10am.  I’ll be driving up on Friday night~ trying to decide if Travis and the kids are going or not??  Anyhow- I’m excited to play another game!!

In other news- we will be having a conference call tomorrow at NOON central time.  I’ll be posting and sending out call in info in the morning.  Please join us if you can.  I’ll be talking about the most effective ways to attain a SIZZLIN’ summertime body!!

We’ll I have a client to train, gotta run (literally)!!

Love ya,
Michelle

Whew!

Whew! I am beat~ and we are in the midst of an ice storm. ICKY!!

Anyhow…I just wanted to recap my past couple days- EATS have been PERFECT! that’s GOD for sure due to it being cycle day 26 for me.

And my workout mojo has been good too…Although my workouts have been about half as intense as usual due to my sciatic.

Tuesday I just did my testing;

Wed I did 10 mins on the elliptical then about 30 mins of stretching and some rehab exercises, then about 20 mins of VERY light weights:
Torso rotation machine
Abductor machine
Adductor machine
low back extensions

i then did a good run on the tready…after 6 mins warm up I did 15mins straight at 8 MPH (7:30 mile pace)- so that was 3:45 half mile pace x4 Continuous, lol!

Then today actually went to my MMA class which turned out GREAT! I was the only one there so I had an hour of 1 on 1 form training…we really focused on that! Then I went to the gym and did some 15mins on the r-bike, lots of stretching and a few abs,  some knee extension, calf rotation machine and smith butt squats.

My hips are sore from yesterday but my BUTT still seems to be improving, however NOT FAST enough for me. I can SEE MY BUTT is getting flat already from not being able to do an aggressive leg workout!

I hoped to test my 1/2 outside in my neighborhood tomorrow, but this ICE will prevent that!  Maybe next week!

My plan for tomorrow is to stay sane and try to get in a back workout.

Sleep tight, I am heading to bed!

Love ya,

Michelle

Wed:
Did a Chest/Tri lifting workout followed by running intervals on the treddy- GREAT workout
followed by 100 lunges

if you are wondering about the lunges in my Team BuffMother! Rally ROOM…we have a mini challenge this week to do 100 lunges every day this week. So far so good!!!

I am headed now to the gym to do a Back/Sh/Bi workout and some intervals if time permits….otherwise I do them later tonight.
I’ll post after I get it DONE!!
Have a super Thursday!!

Whew! I think I am catching up~

Today was my first day back to the NORMAL BuffMother life so I had a week’s worth of e-mails and LIFE to catch up with.

Now to catch you all up with my life-
I had a wonderful trip to NYC, It was VERY successful for business and the FUTURE of BuffMother will be AMAZING in part because of it. It was my first time to the big city, and it was a very good experience. The city really amazes me- all those people in such a small space, totally the opposite of what this small town girl is used to. I did like the work ethic I saw and HUSTLING–the north is known for that. AND compared to Arkansas the pace was fast…all good for my personality.

On my trip home my second flight was canceled due to weather in Charlotte NC, and just my luck almost every hotel was booked due to the NCAA Basketball tourney there, so I barely got a room at the Micro-hotel Hotel. I finally made it home Friday afternoon. That night was the first round of the toughman Travis won his fight, so he fought Saturday night. ON Saturday he came out swinging and got caught by a lucky punch–so he lost. Three of his sparing partners went on the final round and 2 won their divisions! So it was good~
Travis is fine, his nose and neck is sore, but he is back at work today. He was a winner though- he got the money raised that he needed for 2 fatherless boys to be able to enjoy their passions. 1 is getting a new trumpet and the other Basketball stuff and attending a camp–VERY cool ministry that he is starting.

Today started off rough, poor Gunner has the Flu…so no school for him today. He is doing much better now and I am hoping no one else will get it. I am just hanging in there with my fitness –last week was not the greatest for workouts or eating:
M- ran sprints
T- lifted legs at hotel
W- ran on the treddy at hotel and did tiny ubwo
Th-nothing, except running in the airport to catch the plane that was delayed and then canceled
F- nothing
Sa- nothing
Su- I did go running Ran 5 longer intervals of about 300 m each then 3 short 100m or so sprints
M- now to go running and maybe do some upper body strength training
POA for the rest of this week:
T-track workout
W-lift legs
Th-track workout
F-lift at gym
Sa- track workout lift at gym

Let’s see, I have a couple pics to share-
this is me Thursday morning in my hotel room

this is Travis and Gunner at the fights

Now I am off to go running out on this beautiful sunny day!!

ALSO….REMEMBER this is PMA month!! Keep it 100% positive :cheer:

PMA MONTH = Positive Mental Attitude MONTH

I am Declaring March as PMA month–POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE Month.

Recently Stanford released the result of a study about success:
Only 12% of people attributed their success to their ABILITY. AND a whopping 83% of success was attributed to ATTITUDE!

Each day this MONTH (and forever) let’s make an extra point exude a PMA in your blog posts, blog titles, comments, and daily life. SEE what happens you will be amazed!!

Get your attitude right and you will be a SUCCESS!!

PMA BABY!!
xoxoxo~
