A bit slow, ready to chat!

I’m a bit slow getting rolling today—I’m SCARED to move much, due to my neck.  I am doing better so far today!! YAY!!  I am going to make today another complete REST DAY, but I expect by tomorrow I’ll be able to do something again.  Thanks so much for your well wishes and prayers…I can FEEL your love helping me heal fast!!

S2S~ Day 24: Sexy workouts

6 Daily Goals– that will be topics in my daily journal

  1. Cycle day- day 11…so sad that I’m missing out on my buffing– but at the same time very glad I am out now when my appetite is controlled.  If I was injured like this during boosting, I’d be eating much more!
  2. Weight-
  3. Sexy To do’s- I am going to go tanning today and give my feet a pedicure! I’ve also started to think about my wardrobe for VEGAS
  4. Workout- none today– gotta let me neck heal.
  5. Meal POA- My focus here is to be sure to eat more veggies, fruit and protein. NO GRAINS today. I’ve had pizza 2 times in the past week– bad for my belly   so far today: chicken breast (4oz), 4 big strawberries, 1 mini cucumber
  6. Sexy Actions– been “Talking” about sexy with the hubby already today- flirty talk is always fun!
Yesterday, I went to the chiropractor and at the same time got Cuji in to be groomed.  Once he adjusted me (he said my c2 and c5 were both out) I did feel some relief.  It only lasted about 45 mins though…then the spasm started up again.  And I think they were at an all time WORST last night– but laying down and rest helped the pain to stop.  Now I’m at least able to sit up behind the computer in bed.
My plan for today is to move around a little but not do too much– I have some paperwork to complete and I also would like to go tanning.  I haven’t gone in a couple months and need to get a little color prior to vegas.  Plus the heat may feel nice on my neck.
I’m also getting very excited for EASTER!  I love EASTER!!  I should plan some YUMMY FOOD and activities for the kids!!  The girls all have pink dresses to wear– they are going to be so cute!!  Hope it doesn’t rain

Well…have a good one! I plan to enjoy my REST day as much as I can!!

Weekend CatchUp


SATURDAY
GHEESH! I feel like a sloth today…I am moving slow today because my booty is SORE! and my BRAIN is slow today because I am full of hormones, lol! It’s a good thing it’s Saturday and I don’t “have to” do much of anything….

Yesterday turned out to be a good workout day for me, I did LEGS! Just before my workout I ate eggs and a banana~ EGGS and LEGS go good together!

Anyhow I did a bunch of body weight squats during my workout and was HAPPY with that because I haven’t been able to do the motion of a squat without pain for over a month~ YAY!! I am healing up nicely!! The massage I had on Wed really seemed to help my back/hip…I guess I’ll have to have another one then! Massage

In addition to squats I did a few more exercises yesterday:

Dead lifts (with 15 pound db’s)

Bulgarians

leg press (seated)

leg extensions

walking lunges

leg curls

lower back extensions

knee ups

full extension sit ups

I’m gonna do a good back workout today and hopefully run a bit on the treddy…my butt is so sore though I may have to do some other kind of cardio

SUNDAY
HI! I Just got home from church!! My pastor had a GREAT message about DECIDING, DECLARING and taking ACTION~ I am FIRED UP!!!

I also found out that my church has a new website New Life Christian Center where you can watch and listen to messages from my pastor~ I am excited about that!

I feel so much more rested today~ and am getting very excited for the week ahead. I have 49 days to go until my birthday and I’m going to rock it!! Yesterday I went to Sam’s Club and bought a bunch of yummy things to eat: tomatoes, salmon, chicken, talapia, peppers, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, pineapple, strawberries, etc…I plan to eat healthy this week!

My plan of attack for my second week of boosting looks a little like this:

Thurs-Upper body, run

Fri-legs

Sat-run

Sun-off

I also have a bunch of work to do this week~ IT’s time to ROCK and ROLL!! time to TAKE ACTION!!!

Where has the week gone?!?!

HOLY COW! This week has been flying by!!

Crazy how life gets so much more insane with all 4 kids home on intersession….they are HIGH-MAINTENANCE, but FUN ….today two of them had follow up eye doctor appts, after that we ate, then I brought all of them to Wal-mart to spend Grandparent Christmas and B-day money $$$$$$$$$~…that was crazy! I also got my oil changed and bought groceries while there, then we went to the gym. I did a good 25 mins of cardio warm up and some auxillary lifts while waiting for my DH to meet me there.

I am tired from today’s activities and looking forward to a SLOWER paced day tomorrow!!!

Well the party went GREAT yesterday for the twin’s b-day…we had a good time at “Fast Lanes”. We bowled, ate pizza, the kids drove go carts and then played in the arcade. We were there for about 3.5 hours!! then when we got home had cake and opened presents.

Anyhow…I had a once in a lifetime 5 strikes in a row!!! – to start off my game of bowling. I was in shock after the first, but then with each strike I grew more and more amazed!! It was really fun to hit those 5 strikes. I hardly bowl…this is the 3rd time in the past 2 years and before that I hadn’t bowled in about 10 years. Maybe I should become a bowler, lol!! I kinda choked a bit the rest of the game, but did get 1 more strike for a total of 6~ which has to be a record for me for SURE!!

The kids were quite improved in their bowling skills also…we went a couple months ago for Gracie’s birthday~ It’s so amazing how quickly Kids improve at things!

So the buffing is better because I am not having pizza or cake today~ LOL! It’s strictville for me from here on out, until the trip! Then I am going to ENJOY!! I am really getting excited!! I talked with my sister about her cruise and she gave me some GREAT tips!!

My workout yesterday was supposed to be learning to swim, but the instructor had an emergency and couldn’t meet. I was disappointed but not sad because I was DREADING it so BAD! I seriously don’t know if I’ll reschedule. I may just take the kids to the pool a time or two this week and decide from there about my swimming future.

I did legs instead and it was a good one. I set 2 new goals yesterday to be 123 by Feb 23rd and to squat 185×4 reps by Mar 3rd.

those goals helped me get through my sweaty workout today.
