HE created ME!

First off I wanted to share a word of wisdom for you….it will help you stop the insanity in your workouts/diet:  “MUSCLE BURNS FAT!!– do everything in your power to build muscle and you will burn the fat off your body!!”

 

My plan for todays is  to run hills; back, shoulders, biceps + abs…that workout will be done AFTER I get home from my Date Day with with Gunner. He earned a “DATE” with me with STRAIGHT A’s!! So proud of how smart he is!!

Last night we attended his HIGHSCHOOL orientation/registration.  He’s going to be a 9th grader, OMGoodness!!

 

I got in a good workout day yesterday– 22 mins fasted on bike, then last night some legs/abs/booty work.  I had to slightly modify what I did due to the fact I my legs are SORE!!  But I did still do squats, dead lifts, the PBJ and some of the SUB, plus some other items.

 

I also took some time to journal my eats. It looks like I was at about 1900cals total yesterday.

Here’s the breakdown:

P:eggs, beef, chicken (2), jerky

C: carrots, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, grapes

F:salad dressing, cream, meat fat, cheese

G:radishes, mushrooms, onions

All but 400 calls came in after 5pm and I ate a total of 4 meals.

 

My weight is still at 130, but am expecting a drop tomorrow!

 

GOD Created ME!! He created me for purpose…it’s a very unique one and many don’t understand, but I live to glorify GOD in mind body and spirit!!

GOALS~ Shine in 49: Day 6

My titles sure are a little bit boring this week, lol!  But it’s helping me keep on track…

Today is day 6, of our contest and it’s  time for setting goals, thinking purposeful thoughts and committing to a PLAN!!

1.Goal Setting~ …what do I want to accomplish?  Take an honest look at where you are at and make goals that are attainable, yet challenging.  A good place to start is by taking your pictures and stats.  Once you have that truthful baseline you can asses how you are going to get to your destination.  Another key item to keep in mind with goal setting is set an EVENT~ a beach party, a special reunion, a wedding, a photo shoot, a trip…that EVENT will keep you accountable to your goals when things get “tough”.

My goals:

To take one day, one week at a time.  I’m looking to succeed in baby steps.   I expect to be fit in mind, body and spirit for the summer. I want my Ending pictures to show awesome results but  My #1 goal is to keep God #1 t; and keep the rest of my priorities in line after that- God, Travis, Kids, Family/ Friends and then …fitness and work.

My fitness goals revolve little around my weight, but more around my health and fitness level.  I’ve been struggling with my eating- so I need to focus on EATING .  I also want to increase my running capacity.  I plan to put some MILES on my new running shoes this month!  The goal is to run 3-4 times a week!

2. Thoughts~ be sure to journal or blog here about what you are thinking- some questions to ask yourself are: where you are at in your health? what you’ve been doing with your time the past few month? are you happy? how have you been eating?, etc…

My thoughts:

I have been in a season of “rebuilding” for about 4 months.  I’ve regained a lot of strength, built up my immune system and increased my overall health.  The issues I had last fall with a bad bladder/kidney infection are resolved.  Now it’s time for me to attack!!  I’m excited to attack all areas of my life again.  Fitness wise- I’m very excited to  “SHINE”  for my 37th birthday in less than 7 week.

3. Commitment~ It is important that you decide to stay committed…don’t allow yourself to QUIT.  Even if you miss an entire week of workouts due to a cold, you MUST NOT quit!  It’s never too late to start again!  The only way anyone ever attains their goals in life is by NOT QUITTING!  Decide here and now that you won’t quit!

My Commitment:

I am committed to my fitness…it is my medicine and it is VERY important to every aspect of my happiness and success in life.  My fitness is not a choice, it’s a commitment like a marriage– I will not ever give up on it…I will never quit and I am committed to this plan for the remaining six weeks!!.

Weekly Q! ~ Week 5, 2009

In keeping in the Spirit of LOVE for this month of LOVE! all our questions of the week this month have to do with LOVE.

Where would you LOVE to live?
I’m not sure where I’d love to live, but I have some ideas:

Colorado, for the mountains and airport (easy travel)…but it may be a bit to cold for me during the winter.
Or some other Western state like Utah, maybe Idaho, Montana, etc…
I was born in Colorado and lived there until I was 12…I didn’t know how great it was until we moved away to the tundra of MN. There are some really good things about MN too, but I wouldn’t want to “live” there for more than maybe 2-3 months a year.

I could possibly love to live in California, for the variety of climates (beaches, mountains, dessert, forests, etc…) and for the proximity to the entertainment industry.

I’d like to visit Florida a bit to see if I’d like it there, I’ve only been there once for a very quick business trip. Miami looks like a very cool place to visit, but I am not so sure about living there?

or a Tropical Island! I dream of the beach!!!

maybe I’ll have to have several homes

Wk #4 … Power Time!

I am ready to HARNESS the POWER of my hormones this week–HORMONE POWER time!!!  Cycle day 15 is today so this week, I’ll finish off an extended buffing phase and enter into some POWERFUL boosting!!!  I am planning on lifting heavy this go around!! BUT I’d like to squeak out an extra couple days of BUFFING before beginning to Boost…

Last week was STELLAR for me~!! I worked out EVERY DAY!!! (except today, my day off) and I did my 100 lunges every day except yesterday and today :)
Here is the recap:
M-upper body lifting; 100 lunges and a bit of cardio 5 mins on u-bike and jumping abs
T- legs and ran intervals
W-upper body lift and 100 lunges and 11min r-bike intervals
Th-ran hard outside (fasted), 100 lunges (walking)
F-r-bike 18mins;Lift legs; 100 lunges
S-ran 10 mins (sore back); rode r-bike 30 mins
Su- off

My goal this week is to keep up my running- keep increasing my fitness level overall and to enter into boosting with a furry, but keep my eating as healthy as possible.

My Dream today is….I dream of being able to go on several mission trips…my church has an orphanage in Peru that they are building and I’d love to physically go there to help~ it would be so humbling to see and to experience all of God’s power and how HIS spirit comes alive when we whole heartedly go after helping others.  I also feel that mission trips don’t have to be to other far off lands.  One mission that I’d love to help with is the mission to reach women in the Adult Ent. industry.  So many young girls get “caught” in that life without ever trying…I really feel I can help them see that there is a better life out there for them.

Girls…we have only 7 weeks left to getin’ in shape, lose the weight and be ready finish a SUPER STAR…will you be ready???  I know I need to focus and pull out some POWER from deep within to get my booty 100% ready…LET’s DO it!!!!

I LOVE the fact that the fighters are RELENTLESS!! They have to train like mad, the entire time being RELENTLESS… the fighters that quit or give up, LOSE…the ones that win are RELENTLESS!!!I am so STOKED for tonight’s UFC event…My pick is that GSP – George St. Peirre will dominate and be the OFFICIAL champ of the 170 weight class!

GO GSP~!!!!I can’t wait!Hope you have a super EXCITING evening like mine will be!!!
