Today’s Diet Focus:

NO Carbonation!

Carbonation throws our entire body’s pH balance off- eliminating it will help you eliminate toxins from your system and allow your body to function in a less stressed state.  Less stress=more results!

Here’s some cool info on it:http://www.ehow.com/about_6362…healthy-kidneys.html

Keep us posted on how you are doing by taking a few mins to blog in the rally room.  Blogging is easy- just write what you are thinking, what you did for the day, how you feel, what you ate, what your plans are, etc…

day 3 workout

FBI Agent

Crystal’s post about preparing for the Sheriff dept fitness standards reminded me of something I looked at years ago when I was preparing our “JUST DO IT” contest.  The FBI agent fitness standards https://www.fbijobs.gov/11131.asp

I think I’ll do the test this week to see how I score? Should be a little “fun” diversion for me to trick me into doing a hard workout, lol!!

We have just 4 days left of our HOT HINEY contest~ make them count!!

Yesterday was my Track day– I did a good warm up and then 3 400 meter repeats with about 8-9 minutes recovery between. The first 400m repeat = 64 sec! Which made me happy~

Second 400…much was more painful 67sec

On #3 I purposly started slower so that “maybe” it wouldn’t hurt so bad, the final 400m was 69…but i negative split it!! 35;34 … I guess I should have started a tish faster   This is 800m training for masters track

And then my lifting workout Lat pulls Seated rows Leg extensions Shoulder press

Hip flexions on the multi hip lower back extensions pose down bicep curls

and for the finalle I taped this workout~

Butt Workout~ The “FRISCO” http://t.co/at1kNIBEVZ
I SLEPT HARD!!
Have a great THURSDAY~

Fit Skill Set

I am just sitting here watching the birds, the rain and the grass litterally growing in front of my eyes! Everything is suddenly GREEN!  I may even need to mow my lawn this weekend??

CRAZY how quickly seasons change!

Seasons in my life change quickly also! It seems like I am always “adjusting” to the new routine, the new circumstance, a new set of goals or interests.  Life is anything but STATIC!

I take pride in knowing that through all the change I’ve encountered over the past  almost 10 years I’ve manage to keep in shape through it all!!  I’ve been consistently FIT and overall HEALTHY!

I truly hope an pray that YOU too will learn the SKILL set needed to continually stay fit and healthy as you progress through the seasons of your life!  Keeping a constant awareness that your health is not automatic, you must fight for it.  It’s a battle!  You can’t let your guard down or you’ll lose ground…you must be on the offensive!

Yesterday, turned out to be a nice day– I spent the morning organizing things for our Gathering in VEGAS!! I can’t wait to hang out and get to know the TEAM BuffMother ladies who are going!! Our goal will be to simply have fun!!

Then yesterday afternoon, I went out on a “Date” with my DD Gracie!  She had a tough orthodontist appt first and then I had a work errand to run, but after that it was all fun!!

We ate at Olive Garden then hit the mall, Target and then Krispy Kreme!  It was a good bonding time in celebration of her STRAIGHT A report card!!

Gracie got some earrings, a bow, 2 lace headbands, 2 pairs of shorts, a shirt and a bikini. I got a hat, some earrings, a purse and 2 ear cuffs.

When I got home I did a mini workout~

Lunges paired with shoulder exercise

5 sets of 20 lunges total; 3 sets lateral raises, 3 sets shoulder press and 1 sets front raises between sets

Please chime in on today’s contest post ~

I’m off to get some orders shipped, go get groceries and get in my workout~ I’m hitting the gym for a mish, mosh of back and legs–HEAVY SMITH LUNGES BABY!! Then after school it’s off to the races again– Guitar lessons and Awana.
Let’s have STELLAR DAY ladies!!
Love,
Michelle

Anyhow, it’s a nice day here– looks to be the best weather we are going to have this week, so…we’ll head to the zoo after the ortho appts.

MakeOver March!

Last month’s FAVORITES FEBRUARY was such a fun success so,  I declared this month to be MAKE OVER month!! It should tie in perfectly for our “Six to SEXY” contest!! I blogged once already today about that~ MORE CONTEST INFO!!

Yesterday’s “Make-over” experiment was not impressive-  I used a cinnamon/honey mask on my face. It only irritated it~ Maybe it’d be fine for someone with TOUGH skin, but mine is too sensitive.  At least now I know!

Today’s “make-over” is about body hair removal, lol!! Thankfully I am blond and have fine hair … I have it “easy” compared to many~  How do you do it??  Shave, wax, laser removal, “no no”, electric shavers?

I shave my legs with a MAN’s razor…Gillette fusion- I like it way better than the women’s ones I’ve tried. The annoying thing is that I can’t shave in the shower–I’ve got now skills when it comes to doing it like that.  I shave with shaving cream in the tub.  For special areas- I use an electric shaver– it helps keep razor burn the the minimum.  I’d love to get laser hair removal on the bikini line, but as a blond I’ve been told by my Dr. that is not effective.   I’m also very curious about the “No No” hair remover, but not curious enough to spend that much money!

Yesterday,  I got in a good workout with my Mother in Law, Mary.  I trained her and fit in my workout at the same time.   We did Lat pulls, rows, shoulder press, bicep curls and just 1 set of cable flys. Then hit the treadmills for 20 mins~ I ran but it wasn’t the best run.  I was very distracted.

Here’s our #workoutproof picture:

Today’s workout will be legs again~ and OUTSIDE work!!

This is going to be a GREAT DAY and MONTH~

I’m loving March already!!
