Suck IT IN, baby!!

Our Week #7 Mini Challenge is to do 10 stomach vacuums each day (10-15 secs each).

You will see your waist get smaller this week!!! Vacuums are simply sucking in your tummy!
I find they produce HUGE results~ they work your TRANSVERSE abs. “T-ABS”
These are highly important muscles that act as a “girdle” around your waist. The muscles run HORIZONTALLY and HOLD your organs in place. They are stretched out after pregnancy and need to be rebuilt. VACUUMS will do just that! They are worked whenever you practice good posture, and will respond even quicker if you aggressively work at rebuilding them through exercises like vacuums.

One of the easiest ways to do them is to stand with your hands on your knees and suck your tummy in. Try to pull your belly button to your spine. You can do vacuums anywhere anytime- I did some last night while brushing my teeth and this morning sitting in the car.

I DECLARE- November “I am Thankful” month!! Entry for November 2, 2006

As the highly successful October–“I am proud Month” is now OVER–I think it would be fun to continue on with the tradition into November.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I am declaring that NOVEMBER is “I am Thankful month” –So be sure to start off your daily posts with a reason you are thankful!!

I am thankful for my brothers and my sissy

Here is a pic of us all together about 2 years ago-

in the back row you see my brothers Matthew (today he is 17!!), James (he’s about 22 now) and David (2 years older than me so 33 now)–he is holding his little girl…then next to me is my sissy Jeanette(she is now 24)

On tap for me today is the TRACK again…today it is much nicer weather here, so I will take my 3 little girlies with me. I am sure that will be an adventure!

Wish me luck!!!

Here is my Track Report:
It was a crazy time at the track, but MAN what a perfect day for it–sunny 60 degrees–perfect!
here is the low down on how it went
Warm up 800m
First 3 400m- 69 seconds with 4 min recovery
4th- 71 seconds–this one almost killed me! so I had a longer recovery of 8 mins then did
5th- 70 secs…would have been 69 but Tia was in the way so I had to yell at her TWICE to move–poor thing!

We went to the park afterwards and I am still dying an hour afterwards…so time to rest, and refuel and think about what I am gonna do in the gym tomorrow and Saturday!

It was a GREAT experience to be running 400 repeats again…I have a huge love hate relationship with them…they are killers, but UBER EFFECTIVE!!

Love,
BuffMother

I did it!! HOORAY!!

I got my booty outside and got in a good run!
4 min warm up
even min intervals to min #16…then a retard that had past me earlier, drove up beside me and made a smootch at me, I FLIPPED out (won’t mention exactly what I did) but he really made me mad- so RUDE…
so then I took a few mins and cooled down.
Total run 20 min
then I rode the r-bike at home for 20 more, sweated like a PIG!! I was so HOT!

Then I did the following circuit 2 times:
pull ups wide underhand grip 12, 10
Sit ups until i was bored
adductor exercises 25 reps
Laying side raises 20 each side
cats 5 for 5 secs each
push ups 20+10 knees, 20

Now I feel great!

This week, there is no excuses for this chika on the cardio/interval scene and you will see the fat melt off my booty!!

here is a peek into my weird eating habits (not the best, but hey we all need to treat ourselves a bit within limits of course)
M1: whey protein in water, 1/2 mc donald’s cinnamon roll 2 cups coffe P,C
M2: Salmon 7 oz, 1/2 corn dog (kids!), 1 popsicle yummmy
PPCF

that’s it so far 🙂

Happy 4th of July!!
