This week’s mini challenge…

SSS contest~~ WEEK #6 Mini-Challenge “try on your bikini DAILY”~

The reasoning behind this challenge is to get you looking at yourself and motivated to take action towards making your bikini look even better on you!!

I know for me trying on bikinis can be fun or painful! Know that you can create a better body…taking action daily and doing the little things will add up!!! BELIEVE you can wear your bikini with confidence and you will soon be strut your stuff on the beach !!!! BELIEVE you can be confident in your bikini by next summer!!!!

A fun option on this challenge is to take a daily picture of you in your bikini…I’ve done this before and it was very fun!

Get after it and be relentless, we are closing in on the finishing weeks of the SSS contest and I plan on kicking it in!!

My run today went well–

Good– ran 9 or 10 hills, I can’t count so I’m not sure– stopped to tie shoe and to rest a bit after 5 hills for a total if 3 non-running min. The hills don’t measure correctly with GPS so total distance was longer than the “runkeeper” thought– but here’s what it said:

Branded~ Shine in 49: Day 23

Today our 23rd day of contest and I’m hitting it harder than ever!! Hope you are on fire too!

I was reading part of a book by the preacher T.D. Jakes this morning. It was the first time I’ve ever read anything of his. He seems to be a good writer…He wrote about that we should all “BRAND” ourselves. Similar to how Oprah has branded herself. When we hear the name Oprah~ we know what kind of quality she stands for and we expect that something with her name on it should be a certain way. Each of us should be able to name at least 3 things that are the qualities of our personal BRAND. For instance this would be and example mine:

“Hi, I am Michelle Berger….my mission is to help women by giving them hope to persue their dream body, life and legacy! My method is to lead by example in my own life, showing love to others and giving encouragement to women who God brings into my life.”

Another example of a brand is how NARNIA branded their movies with a beautiful LION~ As depicted in this picture.

Mighty Monday

My theme for to day is “MIGHTY”…I want to be Mighty today~ I NEED to be Mighty!!

It’s a new day, a new week and the first day of the rest of my MIGHTY LIFE!!

p.s. I was hoping to start a new official TEAM CONTEST today…but it will have to wait for a few days and have our official start date be next monday.  The contest will be 6 weeks and a new unique twist!!  It’s gonna be a great fit fall!!

SX70- Halfway Done Report!

Halfway Done Report- Time

Congrats!! You made it to the halfway point!!! Now it’s time to refocus- dig deep and continue on towards the finish!!!

Are you still on fire and focused?…If not take a bit of time to look back at your journal. GET the fire again!!!
REFOCUS~ set some new goals, adjust you plan if needed, etc. You can do this!!! Just keep believing!These next few weeks you need to be RELENTLESS!

RELENTLESS is an awesome word!!!
I love the energy it brings, the determination, the fire, the enthusiasm!!!

High Expectations!

I have had HIGH expectations of myself all day today~ and guess what, I’ve risen to the challenge and have had a VERY successful day so far! I love that feeling!!

My workout today went like this:

Warm up- tanning and talking with my sissy
r-bike 10 mins
chest press 70x15x2sets

Bench
45×10
95×10
115×7,6, 5
95×10

Tricep bench dips
4×10 finished each rep with a inverted plank

Hammer strength seatedchest press
90×8,7,10

Incline Flys
30’sx10x3sets

Tricep extensions (skull crushers)
40x10x3

paired with bicep curls
40x10x3

A total of about 4 sets of abs during the workout~ I plan to do more later.

Ran intervals on treddy total of 18mins- 7 hard intervals (8,8,8.5×2, 9×3) I recovered at a pace of 6-7mph…I was very tired!

The rest of today has been spent working on my training programs, cleaning, organinzing, etc…the girls have been watching some movies.

My computer is in the shop until Thurs, so for now I have to share with the kids 🙂 It’s amazing how slow this old best of a computer is compared to my newer one! AND it’s also amazing how much the kids actually use it~ they are a totally different generation!

My POA for this weeks looks like a lot of cardio, heehee! I’ve got to shed the FLUF I gained over the 4 day weekend. I hope it goes away FAST! I’ll start no carbs tomorrow and keep that up until after my shoot. I really hold a ton of water from carbs and my body doesn’t lean up unless I really cut carbs. I always like to go into a photoshoot carb depleted and with as little water on my body as possilbe.

here’s the plan:

M-done with half over half of it~ chest, tri’s, abs, intervals +cardio …I have 30 mins left on the ubike

T- Starting the “NO CARBS”- eeek!! 20 mins warm up- LEGS and post lifting 20mins steady cardio

W-Back, Sh, Biceps, INTERVALS- sprints!!!

Thursday- chest/tri/abs +60mins cardio

Friday- PHOTOSHOOT!

Sat- start boosting! LEGS and food are in order!! and FUN UFC FIGHT NIGHT!!!

Sun- off day

I expect to see some AMAZING Results from my efforts this week~ you should too!! You can only get something if you EXPECT it!

Sprints & FCH Photo prep

Now I am getting ready to go on a date with my littlest lady, LAYLA~ we’ll go to the store and maybe Cold Stone Creamery (I’ve never been there before!)

After I get back I’ll do my upperbody workout…

-Cut your carbs to only 2.

-Eat very salty foods. And if you find this to be a problem, drink a couple of cups of chicken bouillon. It is very important that you have a salt overload on this day

 

-No carbs, protein veggies and fat only

-NO SALT

Put a coat of tanner on b4 bed- Banana Boat tanner with bronzer in it is the best!

 

-No Carbs

-NO Salt

-No gas causing foods

-Take a water pill(diruex) B4 bed and -no water after 8(time so you have 12-16 hours without water b4 shoot)

-Put another coat of Tanner on

 

Photoshoot day

-NO Workout

-Do your measurments and stats in the am

-you can have a cup of coffee

-No water or carbs until after the shoot

-Put another coat of tanner on

-Do your hair

-Over do your make up make sure you have some that will make your face a little tanner looking. What I use is a face bronzer, and 1 shade darker makeup for photoshoots. You may want to practice with this before hand.

TGIF ~ And I really mean that!

TGIF~!! and I really mean that!

What a week it has been for me…a GREAT one for workouts, a medium one for eats and a poor one for my website, lol! I’ve spent 60+hours this week working on my websites and I am so glad it’s the weekend! I need a BREAK from it!

Tonight we are having FAMILY MOVIE time~ we’ll be watching “Princess Protection” on Disney…with my 3 princesses~ and our prince and the KING~ BergerKING, lol!

I had another day “off” of workouts today, tomorrow will be upper body and sprints!! It’s been so hot outside that I MUST get my sprints done early in the morning…summer is here for sure!

I talked to my photographer today and she’s just bought a house so doing a shoot next week won’t work, but I did set it up for the 10th~ that’ll be perfect! So, I’m going to a little extra time to get extra buff!! I’ll still take my photos and do a tiny photo prep for the end of our contest next wed!!!

Okay~ so I am starving…but I’ll be back tomorrow to post a bunch more about the final week of the FCH! so stay tuned!!!!
