I DECLARE- November “I am Thankful” month!! Entry for November 2, 2006

As the highly successful October–“I am proud Month” is now OVER–I think it would be fun to continue on with the tradition into November.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I am declaring that NOVEMBER is “I am Thankful month” –So be sure to start off your daily posts with a reason you are thankful!!

I am thankful for my brothers and my sissy

Here is a pic of us all together about 2 years ago-

in the back row you see my brothers Matthew (today he is 17!!), James (he’s about 22 now) and David (2 years older than me so 33 now)–he is holding his little girl…then next to me is my sissy Jeanette(she is now 24)

On tap for me today is the TRACK again…today it is much nicer weather here, so I will take my 3 little girlies with me. I am sure that will be an adventure!

Here is my Track Report:
It was a crazy time at the track, but MAN what a perfect day for it–sunny 60 degrees–perfect!
here is the low down on how it went
Warm up 800m
First 3 400m- 69 seconds with 4 min recovery
4th- 71 seconds–this one almost killed me! so I had a longer recovery of 8 mins then did
5th- 70 secs…would have been 69 but Tia was in the way so I had to yell at her TWICE to move–poor thing!

We went to the park afterwards and I am still dying an hour afterwards…so time to rest, and refuel and think about what I am gonna do in the gym tomorrow and Saturday!

It was a GREAT experience to be running 400 repeats again…I have a huge love hate relationship with them…they are killers, but UBER EFFECTIVE!!

Mission Annihilate Legs

I had one goal in mind for my workout today…to Annihilate my LEGS! Every millimeter of them

So here is how it went:
Warm up 6 min r-bike
Full Squat 45×15 warm up
Bulgarians body wtx10 warm up

Full Squats 95×10
Bulgarians 30’s x10
Bulgarians 50’s x 6 x 3 sets
2 sets of walking calves in between these
And one set of 10 underhanded pull ups

Full Squats 115×10
Full Squats 135×8 PB!
Some sissy squats with no weight…about 25 reps focusing on squeezing my booty.

Parallel Squats 155×5—by this time my squats were fried!

More sissy squats 3 sets holding the 25 of 10-20 reps
3 sets total of the hammer seated calf raise with 70#’s to failure—about 20 reps each set

Dead lifts
135×10—Romanian
135×10—conventional
155x10x2 conventional

Walking lunges 55#’s on back
2x30steps

45degree hack squat
90+machinex15 reps various foot position, going very low to hit upper hammies

The other seated calf
70#’sxfailurex3sets various tempos and foot positions

Smith Lunges
90+machinex10x1 set on ground and 2 sets on a step

Abs Roman chair knee ups
3 sets to failure—killers of about 50-60 reps each set—some to the sides in there

Leg curls

Now off to bathe myself and the kiddos to prepare for beddy bye!

Slow day in cyberspace!

Hey there ~!!
It’s been a bit slow today on the world wide web…Is everyone on vacation, but me??

My little man went off to his friend’s house today–according to his kindergarden teacher last conference “Gunner has a way with the ladies”–his friend’s name is AMANDA–she is the cutest little thing!! OH what lays ahead for me and my little womanizer who isn’t even 7 yet??

In the gym I had a strong day today!

The great rest day I had yesterday really helped me to have a STRONG day in the gym today–I felt like a powerhouse on bench today–VERY FUN!! Plus I got to workout with my DH so it was even more fun that way.
