Sarah Gilliam- Yellow Team

Sarah wants to start a family but fears her weight is a potential problem.  She is embarrassed to have a conversation about trying to get pregnant with her doctor.  She is concerned for her health more than she communicates.  Sarah lives in Prairie Grove with her boyfriend Jason Fisher.  She is 5’ tall and weighs 247 pounds.  A chance to change her lifestyle is an amazing opportunity, and the only thing that could make it better is if she AND her boyfriend, Jason Fisher were both chosen.

Deek Kastner- Gray Team

Derek is one half of the local 104.9 morning radio DJ team, the larger half.  Deek, his on-air name, has struggled with weight his entire life.  He has three, young children for whom he would love to set a better example.  Weighing in at 300 pounds, 5’ 11,” Deek wants to transform his life and cannot wait to begin a new style of comedy that doesn’t include “fat jokes” at his own expense.

He’ll be trained by myself and Jermaine Petty-

A native of Inman, S.C., Petty came to the University of Arkansas from Butler County Community College in 1999. Jermaine Petty finished his Razorback career by posting the fourth-highest tackle total by a Razorback in a season with 140 stops during the 2001 campaign.  Of the 140 tackles, 13 were for loss. During his stellar 2001 season, Petty was named the Bronko Nagurski Player of the Week twice.  Petty had one interception, a memorable 88-yard pick returned for a touchdown to seal a 42-17 win over #17 Auburn.  He also had the final tackle to seal the Hogs win in the historic seven-overtime victory at Ole Miss.  His 2001 campaign earned him first-team Southeastern Conference and All-America honors. He also won the J. Frank Broyles Award as the Most Outstanding UA Athlete for the 2001-02 school year.  Following his Razorback career, Petty played in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers.
