All over the place!

Hey Ladies, My brain and body have been all over the place. All the new stuff going on has got me working on so many fronts. It’s really a ton of fun!!

 

Finished our www.GymAngel.com give away 10 lucky ladies get a big box of supplements and a tshirt. Keep your eyes open for other give aways…I’m gonna be doing them often! As part of my responsibilities I’ve been a bit more active on bodyspace and in the BodyBuilding.com forums. I’ve already met many new super cool along with some very “interesting” people! Makes me thankful for the sweet encouragment and privacy of www.TeamBuffMother.com

 

STARTED our www.DietBet.com/BuffMother game. All the members got a free 28 day workout/diet download and it’s ROCKING already. I weighed in this morning for it at 135.6 pounds, up a bit from BOOSTING since I’m cycle day 27.

This week’s focus is on ENDURANCE.

Did you know that part of why you can gain more endurance is to do with MITOCHONDRIA?  Mitochondria are the energy factories in your cells. As you train in the “aerobic” zone consistently your body adjust by creating MORE MITOCHONDRIA in your cells! That means MORE ENERGY for you!!  Also, the mitochondria become more efficient at producing energy as you get in shape and at BURNING FAT for fuel!!  Even though I don’t love Endurance training, I do love it’s effects!! It is important!

I’ll post more info about ENDURANCE as the week rolls on!

 

Have our next batch of HT Pills on it’s way…should be able to open up for sale again at the end of the month! Set to work on getting some of these HT PILL Success Stories integrated into our marketing   AWESOME STUFF!

 

BUFFMEALS.com is rollin’ right along, more orders coming in and more work to be done on that too! It’s a fun “SOLUTION” to promote! I’m working on a “SPECIAL REPORT” type give away and promo campaign to gain visibility. Also, set putting up more info on my website, taking some good photos and doing more videos about the meals very soon!

 

 

Thursday night at 5:15, I’m teaching “Insulin and Thyroid” Class again. Anyone local is free to come “on the house” as my guest! It’s in Bentonville at Project Wellness by Krispy Kreme)1400 SE Walton Blvd., Ste 28, Bentonville, AR 72712

 

On the Family front, Football is over, Basketball is underway, OFF SEASON football lifting for Gunner and Track training is set to begin for me, my son and maybe even my Gracie (she’s busy with BB, but loves running too!). I’m hoping to go to a local (actually an hour away) track club a few times to see about gleaning some helpful ideas for my own club that I plan to start in April.

 

Hunting season is well underway…Travis is the only one here hunting this year. He’s not had much luck, but he’s enjoying it!

 

Now, on to workouts…

I missed yeseterday’s afternoon session but I did get in a good 30mins on the bike in the morning.

Today:

Biked 15min, Ran 15mins of intervals, Biked another 15 mins.– training my endurance, my goal by Dec 9th, is to be up to doing 1 long cardio day weekly of 60mins.

 

The plan is to lift legs/abs here in just about 30mins.

Gotta keep working on my BUTT and GUT!!

I had a facial today, ran a couple errands and had my house cleaned…being pampered rocks!!  Then came home to an inbox full of awesomeness! Thanks for all the great responses to my plea for testimonials!! I’ve been working on responding to them, about half way there!

 

It’s day 39 in our contest

I’m going to take today as a rest day. I’m beat and we are fighting a cold at our house, so I don’t want to get too run down. Gunner has a game in about an hour, I’m going to eat something and get ready to roll!

Lost a day?

Hey ya, feels like I lost a day somewhere this week??

Not sure how it’s already Friday, but I’ll take it…Friday’s Rock!

This one is extra nice because it’s sunny and warm and I get to have a special Date with my son. He’s got a hair appt at 4:30 and we are going to shop a bit too. He’s grown so big that he’s got hardly any of his own clothes to wear….been sharing with his Dad.

 

Okay, so on Thursday night I did a good leg workout with some SEXY dancing!

6 to Sexy~ day 25: Sexy Meals

 

I was on the “road” yesterday. I had a business meeting, my HAIR APPT!! (yay) and then finished up the day doing some errands for “work”.  I say “work” because as you know I have a DREAM JOB!! I love being BUFFMOTHER, my work is very enjoyable, but it’s still work, lol!

 

Okay, here’s a pic of my hair. It’s quite a bit darker, but it will lighten up some as I wash it over the next few days.  I think I like the change– It’s what I wanted, more NATURAL!

  1. Cycle day- 2 need I say more…part of why I lost a day of my life yesterday. I do feel better today than yesterday and am happy to be almost out of hormone hell
  2. Weight…I’ll add this in a bit
  3. Sexy To do’s…Get my legs shaved and fix my new hair!
  4. Workout: Chest/Tri’s and run– can’t wait to do this outside today!
  5. Meal POA : Not a full plan yet…Protein shake with a banana in it after run … then go out to eat with Gunner later. Put the pot roast in the crock pot for dinner!!
  6. Sexy Actions- I will spend some extra time with DH tonight.  Maybe give him a back rub

Mojo is on the rise!

HEW!! I’ve had a weird week…It’s been very busy, very good and bad all at the same time, lol!! The GREAT part of my week has been the SUPER Start of the Six to Sexy contest!!  I’m so excited for us to have stellar results!! The MOJO is definitely there and we are going to continue to have a blast as we move along this FALL!!

 

The not so great part of my week…I got horrible chigger bites last weekend while i was in the woods, it took until Thursday to finally be feeling more normal. Then, add to that a nasty bruise cut on the back of my heel from moving a chair on Tues, I was limping all over on Wednesday. All those issues are better now– it’s going to be a great day and weekend ahead!

 

My Mojo towards being SEXY is rising!  I had a much better day yesterday (a rest day)…feeling good about life right now!

Today’s about my GARAGE make over~
I am working towards clearing it out to move all my gym equipment into it. I have to give away a bunch of stuff and also put a bunch of stuff in the attic or other sheds.  I also have an area that never got painted to finish.  Once I get at least half of it empty I can buy flooring and have my HOME GYM assembled. It’s a nice piece of equipment that would really ADD to my workouts!

 

 

Other things on my TO DO List:

  • complete my starting stats (pics and thoughts already done)
  • bring Gunner to a b-day party
  • trip to post office
  • workout- upper body lift (a mish-mosh of NON-SORE bodyparts) and run

We’ll time to GO!!

New Week, New Plan!

New week, new plan!

I’ve joined in with Darcie on the workout every day challenge she made to herself…I am 3 days in Friday was 20 mins fasted cardio/lower body, Saturday was upper body lifting and yesterday was a hills run for the first time since I broke my toe– it hurt a bit on the last 3, PLUS, I spent a lot of time outside cleaning up the yard and chicken coup AND watching football!!

I’m so loving fall and football…all the teams I wanted to win, won!

 

This week’s POA~

Today: fasted cardio on Bike and lift Chest Tri’s in pm

Tues: fasted cardio and a run in pm

Wed: fasted cardio and legs in pm

Thurs: an interval run

Fri: lift Back/Shoulders/Biceps

Sat: lift Chest/Triceps and Run

Sun: some fasted cardio

A bit more cardio this week to get my body rolling on a detox phase. I am boosting, but will be pushing towards more endurance and “cleaning” up the diet.

We’ve got a bit of a cold rolling through our house, Gunner and Gracie are both home from school today.  I’m hoping no one else gets the crud full force!  I can tell I’m fighting it a bit, but I won’t let it win!  My plan is to have an amazing week!!

What is it you really WANT?

Just finished with some fasted biking and will lift later…didn’t get in any workout yesterday.

Life is so good! I’m very excited for September in many ways…but have this question running through my brain recently… “What is it that you really WANT?”

I’m going to work on answering that for myself this September!

Fitness wise, My goals for the next 3 months are just to be HEALTHY and very CONSISTENT in my workouts.  I’ve been researching and RE-learning much about how the thyroid and insulin hormones work to regulate our bodies for a SEMINAR I’m teaching on Sept. 11th…it’s VERY TRUE that hormones affect EVERYTHING in our body! If we operate blindly without that realization we will NOT have the best results.

Mexico was a blast, Travis and I both really needed the time to “CHILL”, we needed to just escape.

The weather was very nice, a big mish-mosh but overall NICE most of the time.  We had 1 day where the sun was full blast and we made it a “TOTAL BEACH DAY”…it was fun to get in the water with the waves. Thankfully my toe handled most all of what we did great.  It continues to improve daily.  We worked out all but 2 days of the trip, played some ping pong, danced a bit and played pool volleyball too!

The most fun times were the conversations we had– we just really enjoy spending time together!!  We met a few interesting people too… One guy was from England, named Gram…we saw him spend HOURS trying to learn to windsurf. He would not give up! It was inspirational and fun to see him get after it at the age of 46 It inspired both Travis and I to keep trying NEW things in our life.

The kids and Grandma seemed very happy to see us, it’s so fun to come home to people that love you. Last night we all went to Gunner’s first game of the season.  He played mostly linebacker but also played some blocking back on offense. He’s very strong and much bigger than most of the kids on the field. He had some very nice hits and played very aggressive. It was fun to see!

Tonight the twins are going off to sleep overs, Gunner is going to the HS football game and Gracie’s got a friend coming over. There’s always action going on with 4 kids…They are awesome!

Time for me to get rolling on my to do’s…

P.S. finally updated my measurements that I hurriedly took before we left on our trip. Can see the increase in bodyfat, mostly “Belly fat”.  Overall though, I am OVER IT…having the time to just CHILL in Mexico this past week really made me understand how blessed I truly am!

First off I wanted to share a word of wisdom for you….it will help you stop the insanity in your workouts/diet:  “MUSCLE BURNS FAT!!– do everything in your power to build muscle and you will burn the fat off your body!!”

 

My plan for todays is  to run hills; back, shoulders, biceps + abs…that workout will be done AFTER I get home from my Date Day with with Gunner. He earned a “DATE” with me with STRAIGHT A’s!! So proud of how smart he is!!

Last night we attended his HIGHSCHOOL orientation/registration.  He’s going to be a 9th grader, OMGoodness!!

 

I got in a good workout day yesterday– 22 mins fasted on bike, then last night some legs/abs/booty work.  I had to slightly modify what I did due to the fact I my legs are SORE!!  But I did still do squats, dead lifts, the PBJ and some of the SUB, plus some other items.

 

I also took some time to journal my eats. It looks like I was at about 1900cals total yesterday.

Here’s the breakdown:

P:eggs, beef, chicken (2), jerky

C: carrots, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, grapes

F:salad dressing, cream, meat fat, cheese

G:radishes, mushrooms, onions

All but 400 calls came in after 5pm and I ate a total of 4 meals.

 

My weight is still at 130, but am expecting a drop tomorrow!

 

GOD Created ME!! He created me for purpose…it’s a very unique one and many don’t understand, but I live to glorify GOD in mind body and spirit!!

~I believe… To WIN, no one needs to LOSE~ I read that statement somewhere last a while back…and it STRUCK me! I am very competitive, and LOVE to WIN…AND I also LOVE seeing others win.

 

HOWEVER, there are times when I catch myself in a contest with someone wishing that they would LOSE~so I can WIN. I DON’T want to EVER think that way!!!

That’s why I LOVE that no one has to lose in order for ME to win!! We can all win~ woohoo!

I’m having issues with self sabotage lately in my diet.  It seems like the second I start seeing the progress I want, I throw it away with some really bad choices.  I’ve got to stop that this next half of our contest!  I need to be more consistently in control!!

Pretty Pink

Yesterday turned into a highly productive day!! I love it when things get accomplished!

I started the day with “work time” –adding a ton of videos to You Tube. I’m still a bit behind on the booty workouts though.  If you’ve ever posted HD vids to the internet with a super slow connection, you would understand why. It takes forever!

After/During that I did my chest lifting workout and also packed up a bunch of MY DVD’s with Band workouts to ship out

 

Then I got dolled up and headed out to lunch with my SIL, Heidi

She gave me the most beautiful pink gem necklace!

 

Then I got my nails done, ran a few more errands and even got my puppy groomed.

Once I got home I brought Gunner to the DR for his physical and then hit Wal-Mart for food.  We spent the night doing some “target practice” and finished the evening off with a “night hunt”.

 

VERY good fun day!!

Today is Day 19 of our Hot Hiney contest~ and I will be working MY BOOTY off today~ I’ll be taping the TUNA and the MELT today!

Bonus Saturday

Hi Ya, the kids were off school yesterday so it seemed like SATURDAY.  Today is my “Bonus” Saturday! Too cool! Today’s contest post~

Yesterdays recap~ *had parent teacher conferences– didn’t go for Gunner, but did for the 3 girls. They are AWESOME! Super loved and adored by their teachers!

*Went to the gym- did Squats and Lunges on smith machine

*Softball game- for the twins, It was their first experience at being thrown a FAST PITCH…the girls were in shock at how fast the ball came at them and how weird the pitcher looked delivering it! At practices the coach has just pitched to them a more standard under hand pitch.  I’m not sure why they hadn’t been exposed to the “real thing” until the game last night??  Oh well, they are the coaches NOT ME!  The team was winning until the last inning…so they lost, and were really sad about it. The game was way more fun to watch than the “coach pitch” ones we had last year.

*Sleep– then NIGHT TERROR (I think I see someone at the side of my bed and half sleeping FREAK OUT!–I’ve had these for many years and they seem to get worse if I get “over tired”~ this time it was really bad and combined with a super bad calf cramp- It was horrible- my calf is VERY sore today from it!

 

Today’s plan is to get outside again, plus get in my “long cardio” day.  I think I’ll start with a fasted bike ride after I get done posting. I haven’t ate just yet and may as well get it done.

 

 

My journal: 6 Daily Goals–
  1. Cycle day– my cycle day is 21 and feel the hormones starting to rise, but really I feel good overall.  Consistent workouts and a controlled diet really seem to help me keep the symptoms low.  I’ve also been GREAT at taking my supplements.  I am currently taking: an organic whole food raw multi, calcium w/D, acidophilus, NO2, creatine, biotin, mega red, PS and aloe Vera juice and my Boosting Pills
  2. Weight–tues I was 128. wed 130…thurs 129My weight is going down!! I’m happy about it~ 127.8 was the scale’s report yesterday!!

    Today’s number is…127.2!!

  3. Sexy To do’s-  GET My BIKINI ON!! and do some “dancing” during my workout time– I should do it in my bikini?
  4. Workout–Fasted intervals on upright bike, Run outside a bit later + lots of outside work.  Yard work galore is on tap!  I may also add in some Squats with DH, he’s got them on tap today– I did a smaller than planned leg workout yesterday.
  5. Meal POA– Burgers for lunch and not sure about supper? Salads have been tasting so good to me!
  6. Sexy Actions- be on purpose about hanging out with the hubby…some days when we are both working outside, we tend to do our own thing.  NOT TODAY…today I’m going to be his shadow, lol!!

Well, I am off to get this day rollin’ with my bike ride~
