Friendly (or FLEX) FRIDAY!!

Hey, hey, HEY!! It’s Day 5!!  I can’t hardly express in words how AWESOME you are doing in the “Six to Sexy” contest. The laser focus I’ve seen is INSANE!!

Workout suggestion for today is the same as Tuesday- LEGs!!

IT’S also FRIENDLY FRIDAY~ So let’s strive to be extra friendly today:

  • Smile more and make eye contact with people…it’s OKAY!
  • Say HI to everyone you cross paths with
  • Break the ice, introduce yourself; be conversational
  • Lend a Helping HAND; open doors; offer to help carry something for someone, etc….
  • Comment on a Friend’s Blog
  • Comment on a STRANGER’s Blog
  • Send some e-mails or private message
  • Send some letters or Thank You cards or B-day cards, etc…
  • Send some flowers~or balloons~ or fruit~ or candy (toffee?)
  • Call a friend, acquaintance, family member or even and ENEMY, lol!
  • Text someone!

Just STRIVE to be EXTRA Friendly today!!!  And HAVE FUN with it!!! You will be rewarded for planting those “energy seeds”

This week has flown by! I can’t believe it’s Friday??  I want to congratulate so many of you on your KILLER first week in the BB.com transformation contest. You are inspiring me with your awesome reports of lifting hard and being sore!!

 

I have had a decent week of workouts, I’ve not been lifting as hard as I had planned but I am getting good running workouts done and am lifting some.

 

Tue- ran hard hill sprints

Wed- did my lower body buffing from my book

Thurs- ran outside 12 loops plus 3 1 min hills– good longer type run

We’ve had Gracie home sick now 3 days this week. She’s had a fever and sinus/cold type symptoms…Stayed home Tues and Wed– went to school yesterday and now home again today.  Hoping she’ll get feeling better now that she’s got the whole weekend to recoup.

 

Today I have to run some errands into Bentonville.  Then pick up Grandma so she can come hang out with us again.   She splits time between here and my SIL’s house during the winter– in her escape from MN!

 

Okay, time to roll!!

Pushing Through

I feel as though the past few days has been me having to PUSH through.  I blame it on a bit of a flu/tummy bug…Hoping tomorrow things will be more “NORMAL” lol!

Friday, just got in a 15min bike ride.

Thursday was a short workout too.  Just 25 mins on the bike and some abs.

I’m going to get on my workout duds now and hit the workout room.

My plan is to try to do legs and adding in the “MAC” moves between sets.

Filthy Friday

My house was/is filthy…so I’ve been cleaning all day.  Got more to do before I have to go pick up my DD and her friend for a sleep over.  But I will get in my workout after I get them.
Been hanging out with the DH a lot this week…he’s just put up my new workstation. It’s so beautiful. I’ll upload a pic.

Miss You!

Holy Cow, I miss you all sooooo much!! I have been the busiest that I can remember this week! I have a million and 1 things going on, it’s been fun and great, but has left me with NO time or energy to be able to spend on the computer with you!

Just to update ya, I’ve been filming my movie “phone in the attic”…the past 3 days I was STRIPPER DIEDRA– which means a ton of dance practice, wearing hells, awkward moments and limited clothing.

The 2 days prior to day that I was LOVER DIEDRA, filming a very flirty scene and a bedroom scene— HOTTTT!!!

Previous to that I was BAD DIEDRA who loves to do evil! I can’t reveal the secrets  of that portion of the movie, But let’s just say it includes Blood, suspense and FIGHTS!!

 

It’s been a TON OF WORK!!

In addition to that I’ve become a GREAT Aunt for the fist time, I’ve helped celebrate my MIL’s 70th birthday, I’ve had a bunch of remodeling work done on my house, worked on my taxes and also today I’m helping my soon to be SIL shop for a wedding dress while her an my BIL are in town from MN for the weekend~ Add to the mix 4 kids, a DH and a Puppy all wanting my attention too!

I have missed a few workouts, but am keeping up some running, and I consider much of my “activities” as workouts!

Gotta go get caught up a bit on my emails!

the Week BEGINS~ POA!

Summer is such an amazing season…so much FUN!!  But, there are still “Mondays” even in the summer!  Time to get to work…

my POA for the week is going to be tough– My goal last week was to lift 6 days; I came close with 5.  I’m only going to shoot for 5 this week~ here’s the plan:

M-back, shoulders, biceps, intervals
T- Fly to MN- chest/triceps (maybe some running??)
W-legs
Thurs- start the drive home– shoot for half way. And then a mish-mosh of upper body/run at the hotel gym
Friday- am workout at the hotel b4 we drive the remainder of the way home
Sa- Lift Legs
Sun- off

Lots to do today– I’ll check in again later!

Not just BUFF… Beautiful too!! ~Shine in 49: Day 38

I’ve got 15 days to go until my birthday~ whoohoo!!! cheerleaders Why is it that I get so fired up to be fit for my birthday EVERY YEAR???   It’s so motivating for me!! I just love feeling my best on “MY DAY”!!

This year Travis is actually going to be home on my Birthday!! He’s missed more than half of my birthdays in the past 10 years due to travel.  Anyhow~ the whole family will be here for my day and trust me we will have a PARTY! And the whole week AFTER my b-day is going to be a VACATION for me- I will be totally UNPLUGGED and KIDLESS!! They are going to MN with Grandma 🙂

Yesterday was a great “RESET” day for me with workouts– but not so much for my diet.  I had more dairy than normal, more junk than normal and ended up going to bed with a tummy ache.  The goal today is to get DIET on track and I’ll be good to go for the next 15 days until my 37th B-day!!  The goal is to not only be buff for my birthday, but BEAUTIFUL also.

I’ve been doing my best to add some extra effort on that department- I got another facial yesterday to help my face be glowing and radiant. I also bought some “manicure” supplies, a new “miracle” face cream and have an appt with my dermatologist for Friday.  I’ve also got plans to get a manicure, pedicure, hair highlight/trim and I will also be TANNED for my day!!  It takes effort to be beautiful 🙂

Today- my girls are determined to go buy some summer clothes- and my son is determined to go spend the night with his lifelong buddy.  He’s had this friend since he was 2!

I’m just loving the final push of our Shine in 49–we have just 11 days left!!  Thanks so much for all the effort, posts, encouragement and thoughts about the contest!! You ladies are “SHINING STARS”~ I love you!!

My kids are gone!

My kids are GONE!! My MIL drove them to MN yesterday…so it’s just Travis, I and Cuji (our puppy) here in Arkansas for the next 11 days or so!!! I’ve not had a kid-less house for almost 12 years!  This is gonna rock!  The only bad part about it is that I have tons of work to do…my vacation will have to wait for when we go to Cancun next month!! I’m excited for that too!!

Okay, so my life totally rocks!!  I KNOW THAT!! I am very blessed and insanely happy!! cheerleaders

Overall the 4th of July weekend was a blast and very busy.  Travis and I managed to workout on Friday, Saturday and Sunday together.  Then Monday was an “off” day.  Tuesday we lifted LEGS and Yesterday, I got a run with 3 hill sprints done. Today is chest/triceps and intervals coming up at 1pm. 

My cycle started exactly when it was supposed to this month (a perfect 28 day cycle) on July 2nd, so I am on cycle day 6 today.  There for a couple days I was SCARED to weight!  But buffing began yesterday with my weight at 125…again today I was 125.  My Buffing goal is to get down to a REAL WEIGHT of 122-123.  Then maintain that through my boosting and end up with a weight around 120-122 for our Anniversary trip to Cancun in August!!!

We just got the trip booked yesterday and I am EXCITED!!! Yeah, I know my life totally rocks!! God is good!!!
