Joy is in Confidence~ Shine in 49: Day 30

Is is possible to be happy if you are continually questioning your value? CONFIDENCE in who you are id key to having JOY! I know who I am! I am a daughter of my Lord God and joint heir with JESUS!

“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” (Romans 8:16-17)

If that’s not enough information to give me confidence and JOY I don’t know what is?

Know who you are!
You are born for greatness, born to do amazing powerful wonderful thing in order to show the world LOVE!
That’s my goal and that’s my JOY!

posture when you are working out- no slouching on the treadmill, elliptical or
when lifting allowed!!

I plan to work a bunch on my posture this week…and some posing. I’m prepping for an upcoming photo-shoot. I will be working a promo on July 10th in Springfield MO. My “A game” is needed! Not sure when I’ll do the photo-shoot…but soon! Each year I try to do one close to my birthday. It’s a good way to celebrate each additional year of buffness!!

ON tap for me today is:

  • Training programs for Clients
  • Planning Summer VACATION time for kids and I 🙂
  • Have a KICK A$$ workout at 3pm- Full body HEAVY!!
  • DIET hard!- – I am planning on being perfect with it- time to lean up this body! I wanna be shredded for JUNE 14th!

Something really amazing I want to share is that I ran a several HARD sprints on Saturday after a 10 min run. BTW- these sprints are only 100m long- hydrant to hydrant on the street in front of my house. the AMAZING part is how insanely sore I got in my core- my ABS and inner-costial muscles/tissues are SORE!

Amazing how I didn’t even know those muscles existed until yesterday, lol! SPRINTS work!!! But a word of caution: EASE Into doing them!! Start with just a couple and work up from there!

Let’s “work it” this week!! Stand tall and confident in your identity!! You are INCREDIBLE!!


Be good while I'm gone!

HI everyone!!

I got it an good workout this morning- back and Bi’s and a run with my friend Nicole.  And I’ve been working towards packing and getting final preps ready for the trip.  I am a little disappointed that I didn’t make my goal of 122 for my trip, but I am at 125, which is a good healthy  happy weight for me! I’ll be able to wear my beach clothes and bikini with confidence 🙂

The plan is to completely unplug during the trip- I’m not even brining my computer!  AHHHHH!!! Beach

Darcie such an interesting lady.  She is chock full of adventure and loves her hobbies (gardening, gaming, outdoor challenges, pets, painting, etc…).  Darcie is a very special person to me because she is my “helper”…she is an integral part of the behind the scene happenings with Team BuffMother’s . Each day she helps me with internet stuff, emails, the rally room and by being my friend.  I can share and be honest with her about anything that’s going on with my life.  I love Darcie!!  We’ve been close friends for over 4 years now…and I’ve seen her go Up and Down as she’s seen me do the same. However- despite every trial she’s NEVER QUIT the fight!  Darcie is 100% an ALL-STAR!!

Darcie is an All-Star!!  If I had to pick one characteristic that I admire most it would be her infectious positive energy.  She is a very creative person and often shares pictures of her creations with us in the Team BuffMother Rally Room. Darcie has been applying Hormonal Timing with meticulous effort and has transformed the look of her body from a fluffy mother into that of a young fitness model.

When I got into the rhythm of Hormonal Timing, I could not believe the difference it made to work with my cycle instead of against it.  To realize that there are times during the month when I can handle a large workout and times when my body is not equipped to do so was a key moment for me.  Knowing that during certain times I need to eat a few more calories took away the guilt of “failure” when I would eat more close to my period.

Update!  I have been using the HT system now for 8 months.  Not only have I been able to maintain my weight loss but I have added muscle and look even leaner.  Pushing myself hard for 2 weeks when my body is able and giving it a break when it needs it has made it easy to stick to my plan.  I’m not saying I don’t have to work hard – but working with my body has taken away the feeling of struggling against the tide.

Why did you enter the SSS contest by BuffMother?
I needed to get back in shape after a long time off. I needed the accountability to be able to stick with it.

What tactics did you use to stay focused and engaged for the entire 70 days?
I kept seeing myself looking better than I ever have so far.

How do you feel about your success?
I have mixed feelings. I really thought I could accomplish so much more. And yet I’m very happy to have been consistent throughout the whole challenge even through the different things life threw at me. And I’m very happy about not just giving up!

What obstacles did you have to overcome in order to attain your goals?
I had to get over my fear. Fear that “trying” would be too stressful and I would end up like I did last year. Fear of failing. Then Jake was diagnosed with diabetes and that was a shock to say the least. We live life by a totally different schedule now. Then there was my niece’s wedding (food!), family picnics (food!), my 19th year anniversary (food!). LOL, lots of food obstacles as well.

What would you like to tell the world about BuffMother ?
There’s nothing quite like BuffMother! Or even more specific there is no place like the Rally Room! Also, even when I try different programs and routines, they are all centered around hormonal timing. Even sometimes when I just don’t WANT to think about hormones I can’t help but factor them in now.

40 days to FIT!! Day 15…Whoohooo x 3!!!!

Today is Monday~ and the first day of School for my 4 kids, Whoohoo!!! The are in 4th, 2nd and 1st grades this year and they were all sooooo fired up for school it was GREAT! I don’t remember ever liking school, but it’s fun that my kids do Laughing

Right after I got them to school I went to the gym~ it’s really nice that I got it done first thing today! I lifted chest, tri’s, abs and finished off with intervals on the r-bike. Another Whoohooo!! for that!!!

And the 3rd Whoohooo~ is for our new and improved Rally Room Gallery!!! I am so pumped that my “Helper of Buffmother”/Darcie was able to get it up and working!!! Thank YOU!!! Be sure if you have any questions about it post them or pm one of us about it~ you’ll find it really nice for posting your progress pics etc. The gallery even allows for bulk uploads, comments and sub-albums. Whoohooo!!!

I have lots of BIG things happening this week…so I took a needed rest day yesterday~ and I feel ready to attack the week ahead, here’s my recap of last weeks workouts and my POA~!
