Shine in 49~ Day 4…Conference Call Recording

HI Everyone!! We just finished our first conference call for “Shine in 49”!! It was awesome hearing everyone’s voice and I love the participation.  If you can make it for the LIVE call…please do!! I’d love to “dig” in and help you toward success.

Today some of the items we talked about included:

  • How the Conference calls are going to progress over the 7 weeks- set topics and  feature coaching with a couple callers each week
  • Adrenal Fatigue- eating saturated fats, protecting your hormone production
  • The Rally Room- encouraging others, finding like minded people, update coming
  • Motivation- setting goals, finding your passions, gaining momentum

Sore Booty!

I have a sore booty today– “happy dance” …YIPPIE!!

My workout yesterday was Squats, Deadlifts, Knee Extensions and Lunges!  I spent the day in at my “old” house- working on getting things out of the attic and shed, organizing, packing, mowing the lawn and uprooted about 20 more baby tress from my planter to transplant to our farm.

Today my to do list is crazy full again and I’ve already gotten the trash out, done the dishes and made breakfast :

  • Get Cuji into groomers
  • Meet with the painter for an estimate
  • Get truck tires aligned
  • Coaching call with a client
  • Workout- run (from and to the tire place so that I don’t have to sit there an WAIT!) and lift upper body
  • Plus, get to work on the 4 training programs I have to write this week!

Busy, busy, but GREAT!!

Workin' It!

Hey!! Just wanted to check in with you…I’ve been busy workin’ it!! Both here at my lovely computer and in the gym~! I never ended up taking yoga…still wanna, but just can’t seem to find the time.

Things should settle down a bit after next week for work…but not in life as the kids will be off that week for spring break. Then I WILL be sure to hit the gym during the hours when classes are offered! I’m looking forward to Spring break; I plan to take that week off myself~ I think we’ll plan on spending lots of time outside, at the zoo, hit the movies (the kids want to see Alice in Wonderland) and we’ll most definantly go bowling 🙂

Okay! The plan for today is this:

Finish 2 training programs- have a coaching call- workout and CLEAN! My house is a mess! And we’ll probably watch some TV…thursdays are always good TV nights- “The Mentalist” rocks~!!

SSS Final Entry Form

SSS Final Entry Form-

This is to be filled out and submitted to me via e-mail when you have completed your 10 weeks of the SSS contest.  We have a new “official” contest starting 1/24/11~ the end date will be the SUNDAY April 3rd and all entries are DUE the following Monday, April 11th.  Winners will then be announced the next week on April 18th.

For all who submit a Complete final SSS contest entry**

You will get a prize~

  • Start date MONDAY 1/24/11!!
  • to be eligible to win You must: sign up for the contest prior to or on the start date
  • Submit starting stats/photo no later than 2/2 to (more info here)

  • 10 weeks duration- a perfect amount of time to get great results

If you really want to see how ever aspect of your body changes over the contest~ Here are the Measurements and STATS I personally take:

Bust (around breasts the biggest part):
Chest- relaxed (just under armpits above breasts with arms down at your sides):
Chest- flexed back and chest (just under armpits with arms down at your sides):
Waist- relaxed (the smallest part):
Waist-sucked in (the smallest part):
Hips (the largest part of your butt):
Shoulders (around the outside of your shoulders with your arms at sides):
Biceps (relaxed at midpoint of upper arm):
Biceps (flexed at midpoint of upper arm):
Thigh-mid (about 8” above knee cap):
Thigh- upper (about 12” above knee cap):
Calf (about 7” below knee joint):

Caliper measurements (*these are the ones I like to track on myself and use to calculate my body fat, for further info on body fat measurements here is a link
Abdomen (I do this one for kicks, since I am an apple):
