This week’s mini challenge…

SSS contest~~ WEEK #6 Mini-Challenge “try on your bikini DAILY”~

The reasoning behind this challenge is to get you looking at yourself and motivated to take action towards making your bikini look even better on you!!

I know for me trying on bikinis can be fun or painful! Know that you can create a better body…taking action daily and doing the little things will add up!!! BELIEVE you can wear your bikini with confidence and you will soon be strut your stuff on the beach !!!! Know that you can create a better body…taking action daily and doing the little things will add up!!!

BELIEVE you can be confident in your bikini by next summer!!!!

A fun option on this challenge is to take a daily picture of you in your bikini…I’ve done this before and it was very fun!

Get after it and be relentless, we are closing in on the finishing weeks of the SSS contest and I plan on kicking it in!!

Happy Hump Day!

Missed posting my blog yesterday, so I’ll double up today!

First off, Here’s my vlog from last night~ 61 days to go and YES, I love bikinis and Yes, I have a life…LOL

So, my workout yesterday was a killer! How do I know? Well, I’m already killer sore that’s how!

I did legs:

Warm up on bike 10 mins

some body-weight squats and DB squats for more warm up

Squats

45×10

135×10

155×4 (bar was slipping off my back)

155×8

Deads

135x10x3sets

 

Lunges ladder up

55# on back forward lunges- 1,1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5

– glad I didn’t do another set, been laying off lunges like this for 3 months due to my ankle sprain

 

Knee extensions 115x10x4 sets with vmo emhasis at end of each set

Bowflex leg curls 50each side x10x3 sets

 

And I did do some abs– on curl bar and hip twists

 

After the leg workout Travis and I went for a walk with our Cuji down the top of our hill trail- we’ve got tons of tiny bunnies on it and dropped carrots along the path for them as “treats”– it was about a 20 min walk. We saw a deer too and it was so cool– she walked about 10 meters toward us!  I think she was curious about Cuji– wondering “what the heck is that fuzzy white fur-ball of an animal?”

 

Now today, I have a chest, tris, run plus ABS

on tap…BUT FIRST, gotta go to Bentonville to get my nails done and do some 4th of July shopping

Shine in 49: Day 35

HI Ya’s!! I hope you are enjoying the “First Weekend of Summer!!” .  I spent almost the whole day outside yesterday~ It was GOOD, GOOD, GOOD!!

My day started off with planting some trees- I got about 20 young maple trees planted along our drive way, watered them (using every hose we own to reach them), and I mulched them.

Next we headed to down into our “valley” to clear a side hill. Several ugly logs and dead trees covered the area.  So we used the tractor to pull several logs and then good old hard work to get the rest of the ugly mess cleared.  Here’s the big hot fire we built with the junk:

 

And here’s how the side hill looks now– almost all cleared:

I didn’t have an official workout yesterday, but I worked my body hard for at 6+ hours, so I am counting it as a workout!

Today I will get in a more “normal” workout, plus I plan to do more outside work– Brush Hogging is on tap!!

Keep your focus on limiting your treat consumption 🙂

~ Let’s head into the final 2 weeks of the contest on fire to SHINE in our bikinis this summer!!!

SX70- Halfway Done Report!

Halfway Done Report- Time

Congrats!! You made it to the halfway point!!! Now it’s time to refocus- dig deep and continue on towards the finish!!!

How are you doing?

Do you feel any different?

Are you seeing results?
What obstacles are you facing? (what are the SOLUTIONS?)

Are you still on fire and focused?…If not take a bit of time to look back at your journal. GET the fire again!!!
REFOCUS~ set some new goals, adjust you plan if needed, etc. You can do this!!! Just keep believing!These next few weeks you need to be RELENTLESS!

RELENTLESS is an awesome word!!!
I love the energy it brings, the determination, the fire, the enthusiasm!!!

Halfway Point!

HEY ladies~ it’s Week #6! and we are now at the “half way” point in the contest!! Can you believe it…it’s time to KICK IT IN!!! My plan is to take halfway stats and pictures on Wed and do some goal setting from there. I am so happy that I am healthy this week and am starting my buffing phase. The world is a BED OF ROSES for me right now!! I love it when hormones are being nice, lol! I had a good weekend of workouts~
Saturday I did a good BACK, Sh, Biceps workout and yesterday a long cardio day: 15 mins u-bike; 15mins run intervals outside; 15 mins more on the bike The bad thing though is I irritated my knee afterwards when I was stretching my quads…It was so bad I actually iced it…and it was really sore last night! It feels decent today, but I’m going to hold off on running again until Wednesday just to be safe. Here’s my POA:

Photoshoot SET!! *edit*

HI!!!
I am FIRED up today!!!  I have my photoshoot for the end of the BBB contest SET….it is going to be on the 16th or the 19th!

SO that means it is GOOOOOOOO time for this bloated MAMMA!  I have gained 3 pounds of water this weekend~ icky hormones!!!

Anyhow this weeeks MINI Challenge 9- to Drink 1.5 gallons of water a each day will really help me get that bloat GONE and to lean up for my shoot~~ woohooo!!!

here is the plan:
EAT LESS, lol!
Go off of CEE
Workout hard daily–efficient effective workouts
DRINK water!!
Keep protien and Green intake HIGH
Keep CARB intake low only 2-3 daily

The last official day of the BBB contest is 5-18-08…that means we have 14 days to go to get ready for our BIKINIs Will you be READY?
I WILL!!!!

Focus and GET AFTER IT!!!!  You will be amazed how much your body can change in 2 weeks!!!

I had wanted to go to the gym today for legs, but they are still sore!  So I went for a good hard run of intervals this morning and then this after noon did another 30 mins of stuff– a bit of running, a bit of bikining, some jumping, some push ups, and standing abs
