<p>I started the day with &#8220;work time&#8221; &#8211;adding a ton of videos to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/BuffMother" target="_blank">You Tube</a>. I&#8217;m still a bit behind on the booty workouts though.  If you&#8217;ve ever posted HD vids to the internet with a super slow connection, you would understand why. It takes forever!</p>
<p>After/During that I did my chest lifting workout and also packed up a bunch of <a href="http://buffmother.com/product/starter-pack-dvds-bands-books-more" target="_blank">MY DVD&#8217;s with Band workouts</a> to ship out</p>

<p>Then I got dolled up and headed out to lunch with my SIL, Heidi</p>
<p>She gave me the most beautiful pink gem necklace!</p>

<p>Then I got my nails done, ran a few more errands and even got my puppy groomed.</p>
<p><img alt="" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/936396_10152864269625055_943759692_n.jpg" />Once I got home I brought Gunner to the DR for his physical and then hit Wal-Mart for food.  We spent the night doing some &#8220;target practice&#8221; and finished the evening off with a &#8220;night hunt&#8221;.</p>

<p>VERY good fun day!!</p>
<p>Today is Day 19 of our Hot Hiney contest~ and I will be working MY BOOTY off today~ I&#8217;ll be taping the TUNA and the MELT today!</p>

<h5>Yesterday was my Track day&#8211; I did a good warm up and then 3 400 meter repeats with about 8-9 minutes recovery between. The first 400m repeat = 64 sec! Which made me happy~</h5>

<p>On #3 I purposly started slower so that &#8220;maybe&#8221; it wouldn&#8217;t hurt so bad, the final 400m was 69&#8230;but i negative split it!! 35;34 &#8230; I guess I should have started a tish faster <img alt="" src="http://www.teambuffmother.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" />  This is 800m training for masters track</p>

<p>So&#8230;yesterday I got caught up on my video demos for our booty sandwiches!!</p>
<p>I did the MAC and the WRAP and then I did my leg workout~~</p>
<p>MAC- repeat this circuit 4 times.</p>
<ol>
<li>M- MMA Squat- get in a &#8220;fighting stance&#8221;, hands up by ears to and squat 5 times; Jump to switch foot position and do 5 more.</li>
<li>A-Abduction- simple laying side leg raises- lay on your side with head propped up on elbow.  Lift top leg up as high as you can without rotating hips open- you may want to point toe down to help activate your hip/glute muscles. Do 15-25 reps (to failure) on one leg and then repeat with the other leg. Be sure to alternate starting leg with each set</li>
<li>C- Cross Swings- Stand with all your weight on right leg holding on to a chair or bar infront of you &#8211; lift left leg up to side and then swing it  A-CROSS the right leg in a controlled fashion.  Do 10 each leg and be sure to alternate staring leg with each set.</li>

<p>*HH sandwich*~WRAP (I&#8217;ll ADD video demo later)</p>
<ol>
<li>W- Wiggle It- Stand with legs slightly further than shoulder width apart. shift weight from one side to the other lifting right hip and bending knees of left leg to do so and switch back and forth giving a &#8220;wiggle&#8221; type dancing motions.</li>
<li>R- Running Ups- Stand holding a bar or back of chair in front of you.  Bring knee up to chest (like running) and then extending foot back behind you about 1.5 to 2 feet with a &#8220;bounce&#8221; between.  Do 15 on each leg then switch.</li>
<li>A- Adductions- Lay on your back with feet up in the air and butt propped up with hands. Made a V with legs being sure to get it as wide as possible and then close V and repeat.  SLOW and controlled for 10 reps. You can vary foot position to emphasize certain muscles.</li>
<li>P- Pilate UPS- Stand with toes out like a ballerina, squat down low with knees out to side then extend all the way up onto toes with arms above you.  Repeat 5 times.</li>

<p>I did: Dead lifts (stiff, Romanian, conventional) with 135# for the high sets Squats Heavy 1 heavy set of 155 the rest at 135</p>
<p>Lunges one set forward and on set reverse</p>
<p>with a bunch of other leg stuff between&#8211; Some of the moves from the MAC and WRAP, plus practicing for the FRISCO and the TUNA <img alt="" src="http://www.teambuffmother.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>A good hard solid workout!!  I also &#8220;tested&#8221; my hip flexor/quad and it feels better, so I&#8217;ll be good to go for a solid track workout tomorrow!!</p>
<p>FYI- I took my resting heart rate this morning and it was down to 41BPM <img alt="" src="http://www.teambuffmother.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" /> my weight has been right around 127.  I&#8217;m getting in better shape!! GOTTA LOVE IT!</p>

<p>Here are mine again:</p>
<p><em><strong>My butt habit to incorporate~</strong> Lift heavier! I&#8217;ve been in &#8220;recovery mode&#8221; from a neck injury for the past couple months&#8230;now that I am healthy again it&#8217;s time to challenge myself on the weights.  Lower reps and higher weights~ Heavy lifting provides amazing muscle growth!</em></p>
<p><em><strong>My butt habit to eliminate~</strong> Sitting! get off my HINEY! I&#8217;ll be using my standing work station</em></p>
<p>Yesterday was a good day outside.</p>
<p>I got in a Track workout:</p>
<p>Run 2 laps for warm up Run 200m x2 (time: ?, 31) Run 50 acceleration- had Tia video this&#8230;looked slow and need to get on my toes! Run 300m- 46sec&#8230;during this one my left hip flexor was bothering me</p>
<p>Run 300m- 49sec- ran slower on purpose due to hip</p>
<p>Cut workout short, hip flexor was too bothersome. I&#8217;m wondering if it was a cramp?  I&#8217;ll be nice to it for a couple days and see.</p>

<p>Then I mowed, brush hogged and weed whipped for several hours.</p>
<p>I also ACCIDENTALLY took some advil I had in my hand to give DH. I went into autopilot mode and swallowed them down with my water&#8211; silly! <img alt="" src="http://www.teambuffmother.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_crazy.gif" width="23" height="20" />lol!</p>

<p>Anyhow, today I plan to get in a good workout and some sun! Right now I&#8217;m watching the UFC event from last night&#8211; LOVE MMA!!</p>

<div>Tips:</div>
<ul>
<li>Challenge yourself to lift heavy enough to where by each 8-10 rep you feel like you may not be able to complete the move.</li>
<li>Take time between sets to recover- it is NOT a race!</li>
<li>Be sure to do each move very deliberately focused on your BUTT!</li>
<li>For single leg moves (lunges) be sure to alternate starting legs and in Dead lifts alternate hand position if you are using an over-under grip.</li>

<p>Today&#8217;s plan is to hit the track in after a bit- I need to run and run fast!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve not tried to run at the track during the school day yet&#8211; so hopefully I can access it <img class="noBorder" alt="" src="http://www.teambuffmother.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_smile.gif" width="15" height="15" />  I also have to &#8220;film&#8221; the HAM butt sandwich today along with a couple others so you can &#8220;see&#8221; what I mean by the sandwich acronyms, lol!</p>

<p>In other news~ I got my period yesterday. It was a whole 28 day cycle again&#8211; LOVE IT when my cycle makes it the whole 28 days~ I weighed 128 yesterday and today I have some cramps but I expect they&#8217;ll pass after a bit.</p>

<p>Today is Day #6 of our contest&#8211; <a href="http://www.teambuffmother.com/topic/fear-off-bulking-day-6-hh">&#8220;FEAR of Bulking&#8221;?? ~Day #6 HH~</a></p>
<p>My plan is to enjoy the outdoors for several hours today, then get in a good solid BACK workout + some intervals.  Not sure what the intervals will be except for that they will not be RUNNING.</p>
<p>Yesterday, I did fasted cardio on the upright bike for 25mins; then did some walking and jogging on the treadmill followed by some plyo work- lots of jumping!  Then, I ran hills&#8211; Did them a bit different.  I ran to the bottom of our hill, then up for 1 min/down for 1 min x5 times then upped my recovery time to 2 mins (1walking/1running) in between the final 3 hills.  It was a good fun different way to do it! After the run I did some HIGH KNEES, a few lunges and booty pops in the mirror.</p>

<p>I also tested my hip flexor a bit&#8211; I think it&#8217;s ready to try sprinting again!!</p>
<p>Thursday got crazy busy so somehow I ran out of time to do my full leg workout&#8211; the good news is that I did get in my HEAVY Squats.  My best set was 175&#215;6 after which I thought- I&#8217;m gonna try 185#&#8211; only did it 1time&#8230;but IT COUNTS!! My knees and hips can tell I upped the weight.</p>
