Family Track

Yesterday was family track day!

It went fine except that I was still “sore” from my MONDAY’s hard track day- I think I may had done too much too soon.  My upper quad/hip flexor was not feeling the greatest so I had to modify my workout a bit


2×400– my goal was to run steady splits of about 17seconds per 200m- first 400 was 71, second was 69- Gunner ran with me for 300m on second one.

1×100 hard- right at about 14sec 1×100 strider at about 75% 1x300m- 52 sec…this one was at a good solid pace– definitely glad I was not running a 400!


the kids ran 3 hard 100’s and then did the long jump a bunch of times.  I think they had a FUN TIME!


Prior to the track day my MIL and I mowed the lawn and I weed whipped…my yard looks awesome!


Today, I am going to just ENJOY my life!!
