Sexy Mojo!!

Sexy Mojo!!

I’d like to take a bit of time today to talk about “Keeping Motivated” in our Sexy in 70 contest…or as I like to call it keeping your Sexy MOJO!!!

It is so easy for us to get GUNG HO about our fitness goals for 1,2 , 3 days or even a couple of weeks but then totally fizzle out…much of  the participation I ask for from my clients and TEAM Buffmother! members is meant to HELP them stay motivated…here is a quote from our Team BuffMother”Rally Room” about being a good TEAM member:

“1) Encourage others to do their best in the “Sexy in 70” contest …try to comment on at least 5 blog posts daily. “The KEY to your motivation is to encourage others!!”
2) Blog often on your personal progress, workouts, thoughts and weekly mini challenges
3) Stay accountable and HONEST but be determined to FINISH~! No quitting allowed!”

Do you ever wonder, “Who Stole My Mojo?”

Mojo is what you need to close the enormous gap between
knowing what to do and actually doing it.

How can you find and keep your MOJO (motivation)?

1. Give- MY #1 solution is to take the focus off of me and give energy to someone else. That’s why the motto of the Rally Room is “The Key to your Motivation is to encourage OTHERS!” Just try it- give a little of your energy to someone else and you will be amazed at the motivationyou get in return!!

2. Believe Seeing is believing! See the proof andbuild your belief that it can be done by reading Success Stories and seeing inspirational photos. Believe that you CAN and you WILL!!! (please read my article “Believe”)

3. Synergy – Realize you are not alone! Being fit and healthy is not easy and often a lonely journey. Being a part of TEAM BuffMother! gives you a sense of belonging and the synergy you need to succeed. We are all striving to help each other create healthy bodies, lives and legacies. The energy and excitement you find that the Rally Room offers even more support and a closer connection to others. And will catapult you to the “next level” of motivation!

4. Legacy – When you embrace the fact that every little choice you make has an impact on others FOREVER, your motivation to succeed with skyrocket! Step up! Take a hold of your life!! YOU have the power to create GENERATIONAL HEALTH!  Together we can CHANGE the world!!  It all starts with you being a good example!

    i see myself progressing….and can’t wait for next week…

  2. The lunge challenge really kept me going to the gym. I really felt like “calling in sick to the gym” today but prevailed. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. had a really bad week…. I have been asking myself all week who stole my MoJo?
Tomorrow is Monday and I am refocused and looking forward to a new week. thank you for your continued inspiration!

  6. Great timing for this email! I had a really awful couple of days last week, and I mean dreadful in terms of food consumption. Morever, it wasn’t even something I could blame on my cycle because I was only at about Day 15 and for me Days 20-27 are the worst. In this pit I really came to realize that I have a lot of negative self-talk that happens in my head, and I am probably also a binge eater. I do a lot to counteract the binge factor, and have a strong metabolism to help, but accepting that fact has been very freeing. I have to truly treat some items as “addictions” and tell myself…there is no just one when it comes to these foods. I’ve also tried to change the message in my head to a positive one. Telling myself, “you are a healthy eater, you make good choices.” I really want to kick this issue, but in reality I know that I’m always going to have some demons running around. But I am tired of them getting in the way of being lean all the time rather than just at competition time! Onward! I guess I should temper that and say I do NOT want to be competition lean all the time…unrealistic…but within 10 lbs would make me super happy!

  7. Love this new life!!
Watching the body build, self-confidence increase, and the bouts of depression less deep & farther apart!!
Taking care of your temple is PRICELESS!

  8. Perfect timing for this email as I had a ‘sick day’ today. I really pushed it yesterday and my whole body aches. I was worried that taking this day off would throw me off course but I’m now motivated to get in there tomorrow and rock it!

  9. I think the greatest motivator thus far is how I can see my body changing. The pants are getting looser, the muscles firmer and the energy is rising! I love the fact that this is for me and my family. That I can be a role model for my kids. They see me exercising in the living room and my four year old will tell me he hasn’t had enough exercise today. He gets up and moves about. That is really what I need to keep lifting the heavy weights and push my self on the elliptical.

  10. my mojo left a long time ago when i seriously burnt out. But for the first time in a very long time i can feel it coming back!! 🙂 Feels good to be alive!!
