  1. I would really love to gain more muscle specially in the core section because it is very jelly like!! i gaine 60 lbs and pretty much got it down…it’s just now some lose skin and fat which i know with building muscles will take time and go away!! i just need support and more knowledge and tips on how!!!so far i am very proud of my accomplishment!!:) i want to be stronger and have more energy and keep improving!!

  2. have you read my book “After Baby ABS”? it lays out a solid plan for you to regain your beautiful buff tummy after babies!!

  3. That’s really odd that they won’t let you eat more than what you meal plan says– don’t worrry about it though you can still build muscle!! ….JUST HIT THE WEIGHTS! I am sure at your next check in they’ll let you up your calories if they see your metabolism rise and your new muscles!!

  4. I’m discouraged. Just got the message that I’m not clear of my anorexia to eat more than what my meal plan allows. I’m really sad because I want to build muscle but I don’t think I can do that with only 70 grams of protein a day. 🙁

  5. It depends…typically not a ton. I am all about doing short but effective cardio meaning I do INTERVALS mostly and I choose to run outside quite often. I’ve been amp’ing up my cardio recently because I’ve slacked on it for the past year 🙁 If you want to see my current workouts and routine check in on my blog- I post almost daily 🙂 I don’t usually do any cardio on leg day– and I typically do my interval AFTER my lifting on upper body days- so on average 3-4 times a week I’ll do 20 mins of intervals

  6. How much cardio do you do each week? I am currently trying 4-5 days of 30hr Interval

  7. I’m like 3 days behind. My 3 yr old is leaving me for 2 wks for vacay with her grandparents. I have a laundry list of stuff to get done while I’m childless. Top of the list if the gym. I will get there!!!

  8. Day 3 – GGGRRRRRRRR!!!!! Hear me cry!! I had planned my first run this morning but my 7 month old had me up all night teething….!! So, plan B is to go for a run later when she’s tucked up in bed (hopefully early tonight). All my good plans seem to go out-the-window at the moment.
One thing that is on track is my diet. I’m slowly losing the excess ‘baby’ weight, and in fact I weigh less now than before having my baby. Although I’m pretty sure I lost a lot of muscle while pregnant, so I’m doing all the ‘post baby abs’ work-outs at home and heavier weights when I do get to the gym.
MY CRY = I WILL BE BUFF xx
PS: getting to the gym is very tricky at the moment as I don’t have anyone to help with my little girl during the week. However I do try to get there once a week if possible.

  9. I am ordering the books today, but previously have had great success working out and watching my nutrition carefully. Here’s the problem: I am about to be 57 and am starting nursing school in a couple of weeks. I have my schedule and already have planned in my workout times. Also, I made sure NOT to get a priority parking pass for the campus so I will have to walk a half hour to and from classes. Right now, my workout consists of walking on the treadmill at 3.2 mph for a half hour, plus foam rolling and yoga. Weights are soon to follow. I AM trying, gals. I’m just having to take baby steps instead of going all out like I used to be able to do. One thing at a time! I don’t want to get hurt and then not be able to do anything at all.

  10. I hear you loud and clear…you are indeed a walking testimony,an inspiration to us all. It shows that when you are willing to let go of excuses and start doing things towards your goals, nothing can stop you from achieving them.

  11. After making the commitment to start working out and running at lunch I definitely keep my gym bag in the car. I keep gym clothes, running shoes, spare under garments, water, toiletries, and my iphone arm band! Definitley making a lifestyle and attitude change!

  12. Wonderful paintings! That is the type of info that are meant to be shared across the web. Disgrace on Google for no longer positioning this publish higher! Come on over and seek advice from my site . Thank you =)

  13. Great tip! I recently joined our local gym and have been successful with going at 5:00AM several days a week since June. However, with summer coming to a close, I have found doing the workouts at home has been much more convenient. When I go back to school, I will do my workouts whenever I can do them and need to work in a time/schedule that will ensure I stick to it. I owe this to myself and my family! I will be ordering the package that contains the book on Hormonal Timing as I believe this will shed some light on why it is so easy for me to get out of bed at 4:15AM one day and so difficult the next!!!

  14. Day 2 for me in the 40 day challenge. This is a really cool pic. I did your motherobics intervals last night… and since I prefer swimming, I decided that would be the natural choice. Not going to lie, there was much profanity. Haha 🙂 It was TOUGH, and as a novice swimmer I had no idea what I had gotten myself into and was wishing for the elliptical machine. To my surprise, everyone else in the LA Fitness pool stopped and cheered for me when I finished and told me things like “mad props”, “you’re a trooper”, and “I couldn’t have done that.” Total self esteem boost, and I’m ready to try it again, even if it kills me. 😀

  15. yep, seasons change and so does the places I workout…I was an avid gym goer for YEARS…now I love working out at home!
